New blr for a New job

Hi, welcome to my Workblr 💛

I'm Nina, I've been on Tumblr for a while as @ohdaylight making edits & all. But I've always wanted a studyblr, and as I leave Meta being, I felt like a space for my life as a woman working in Stem (Knowledge Management more specifically) would be fun. I'm taking a new position on Monday (hiiiii) so it's the perfect timing.

Dream job & Dream blog.

I'll share my work life, some tips & inspos, I guess. I already have a blog for everything else @ohday-nonsense so this place will be focused on work, stems, coding & being/learning to be the best version of myself in my field !

What a week. May 28th

Working from home in between medical appointments is never fun but it's less tiresome than going to the office. Still in the "learning/training stage" of my new job so weeks are LONG. But it's really interesting so that's cool. Hope 8 can get a good night of sleep soon tho.

May 14th

Brain is melting. The first few weeks in a company are always A LOT. I almost feel dumb because of the amount of stuff I have to learn.

Thankfully, coworkers & boss are nice and it's a small business so there's no pressure to be fully operational already (started 2 weeks ago......).

Well, we'll see how that goes. In the meantime:

❏ don't overdose on coffee

❏ finish EoS/ToD tandem read this week

❏ go swimming this weekend

❏ set down a comprehensive description of my obsidian database

❏ learn what IIS and 4d is.

May 9th - wfh

Boyfriend & I are trying our first "both working from home" day and... I'll be listening to Electro/Techno whether he's working in the next room. It came to our attention that I sing along with the music while I work 🙃😂 so... No lyrics when he's around.

and oh lord lord lord. it's been a while! I submitted my last assignments (the Parthenon essay being my magnum opus, I love that damn monument and all it's controversies) and am now onto purely exam revision, but it's been a lazy couple of days.
