The man turned the corner and spat, “You can not be serious.” He rubbed his temples, knowing full well it was in the realm of possibility, and groaned, “Please tell me you didn’t let her jump.”

“Let her?” Mitsuhide grunted, pulling himself back through the railing. The renewed ache in his muscles was worth it for the horrified expression alone. He swung his legs languidly off the balcony, leaning forward as if waiting to see her making a run for the gate. “How interesting it is to find someone who still believes I command her when it is she who wields the most control. Truly you think too highly of me and what I am capable of, Hideyoshi. Will it ease your worries if I say I am more concerned about you than her? Such pain you must be in, what with biting back your words for so long. However are you managing such an impressive feat?”

“That’s one thing I’d be happy to teach you.”

“Why I couldn’t possibly take up so much of your valuable time!” Mitsuhide cried earnestly, hand clutching his heart. “I assure you all I require is another demonstration, perhaps while we wait for my darling Luna to climb down? I’m sure she’s nearing the bottom by now.”

“Actually, I’ve got a better idea. Stick out your tongue,” Hideyoshi ordered. He stabbed his dagger into the wooden railing deep enough to stand unaccompanied and patted beside it.

“Such progress you’ve made, sandal warmer, consider me thoroughly impressed,” Mitsuhide chuckled.

“Hattori. And no. He’s forbidden from letting you climb up the wall anyways so give up,” he answered. Luna narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms, pouting like a toddler. She started giggling when his eyebrows furrowed in agitated disbelief of guessing correctly.

“Oh relax will ya? I don’t want that, I wanted to ask him if I could have a few of his smoke bombs.”

“I can’t relax, you might try to stab me again. My answer is no. To everything. Which means his is no.” Ieyasu’s scowl signified he wasn’t budging.

Welcome to my life...

I decided to finally change the direction of the stupid water knobs in the kitchen because one of them was put on wrong and it drives me batshit fucking crazy. The instructions on YouTube say nothing about turning off the water but I think, “Better to be safe, right?” I turned the faucet on using one of the knobs, the other I had already taken off, and no water so I think I’m good. Oh no, oh no no no, I was indeed not good.

Get the screw off and water starts shooting out of control EVERY GODDAMN WHERE. Do I quickly turn off the water? Of course not. My stupid ass is trying to screw it back in. My hair is soaked, I’ve sprayed water in my face so many times I think my lungs are filled with it... It is only after I’m thoroughly soaked does someone walk in. YESS! Someone to help, right?

Negative ghost rider. Instead they say all nonchalantly, “Hi.” Mind you, the hydrant is still blasting water up to the ceiling like it’s fulfilling its one wish in life to be Shamu. They then proceed to GET A DRINK AND LEAVE like they can’t see the chaotic hell I’ve unleashed upon myself.

One screw in place and the water actually shut off, I get the knob on correctly. Fish could have lived in my kitchen until I swam to the door and opened the flood gates.

I barely survived.
