I said into the receiver before Sylus picked it up, “Wha— Hey!”
And hung it up for me.
“Sylus!”
“You said ‘goodbye’ three times already, the least I could do we help you finish the call sooner.”
“She wasn’t bothering me though.”
“I’m not talking about her..” He said blatantly, as if the reason was right in my face.
“Oh, I get it. The big bad leader of Onychinus wanted my attention, is that right?”
“And this big bad leader, has matters that need tending to.” He says and takes out his phone, scanning over the screen lazily.
“Oh? And would you look at that, it seems all of them have you in mind. Care to join me?”
“Certainly. What are we going to do?”
“Anything your heart desires, we have the whole weekend to do whatever.. We.. Want…”
He pulls me close by my waist, leaning down just enough to feel his breath on my ear, “Let’s make it count, shall we?”
