more daredevil headcanons
- On the first night of college (literally the night that they met each other) Matt ran into his bedside table, sliced his shin open, then had to instruct Foggy on how to do stitches because he refused to go to the hospital.
- Sometimes, for shits and giggles, he'll take a book and pretend to read it. Of course he can't actually read it but it's fun to confuse people!
- Foggy has ADHD and some of his hyperfixations include Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teen Titans, and DC heros. I also say that he's bi and trans (Marci's trans too). I have bestowed the highest honor onto this man
- Matt originally grew up with hardcore rock, but once he started living in the orphanage he didn't really hear anything but religious and family friendly music. Once he got into college Foggy opened him up to so many rock artists (including Gorillaz, which is still a favorite)
- Foggy knows how to drive a stick-shift, tractors, cranes and other license requiring vehicles. He has yet to say why he learned all of this.
- Matt's cane went from completely white (which means he has no usable vision) to white with a red tip (which means he has some vision). I say this is because he didn't really have a true understanding of his "sight" until after college, and got a new cane because of it.
- One time, when getting coffee, he pulled the door too hard and smacked himself in the face with it. Foggy laughed his ass off at him while he pressed napkins to his bloody nose.
"Foggy, it isn't funny -"
"I told you the door can get stuck like a million times! And you still smacked yourself in the face! I can't breathe -"
- During the "incident" (which I didn't know was The Chitari Invasion until someone pointed it out), Matt's senses went so haywire that he couldn't tell where anything was, leaving him truly blind. Foggy was already over when the invasion started and the two of them hid in the bathroom for hours. It was the first time Foggy ever heard Matt pray out-loud. They don't talk about it.
- As with every popular vigilante/superhero, when Daredevil went mainstream, people started making fan-edits for him. Matt can't see them but Clint likes to describe them to him.
- Matt himself got popular after the Frank Castle/Wilson Fisk trial, and it got even worse after he was seen in public with Clint. Karen and Foggy also have big fans and the three of them like watching/describing edit compilations.
- Clint has offered to take him to the Avenger's Compound, but Matt keeps saying no. Not for any particular reason; he just doesn't wanna sit in the car for two hours.
- Foggy is the bestest friend. You need a hug? A shoulder to cry on? Someone to make you dinner? My man's got you. He'll make you a gourmet sandwich with a side of a funny movie.
- Karen also has ADHD, but her hyperfixations aren't necessarily media based; she enjoys crime podcasts, documentaries, missing cases and journalism (as seen in the show). I think she's lesbian post season 3.
- Post season 3, Matt took a break from Daredeviling until the whole "daredevils a murderer" thing blew over. He returned about a month later.
- Matt is afraid of hospitals, planes, and drowning. Foggy is afraid of needles, spiders, and heights. Karen's afraid of dying, being alone, and being in a car for too long.
- Clint and Matt are actually really good friends! The way that Clint figured out that he was Daredevil was when he snuck into his apartment one day, covered in blood, and revealed his identity.
- Just to make you even more sad, both Matt and Foggy were snapped away in The Snap. Matt knew, hearing Foggy's heartbeat fading away, and when he reappeared five years later the three of them cried over drinks at Josie's.
- Matt really likes plain mashed potatoes. If he could eat mashed potatoes the rest of his life, he would. What's really funny is that he refuses to eat them if they're seasoned too much. They have to be plain. Foggy makes them best.

- Matt has sharp canines. No I will not hear differently.
- Karen is a dog person, Matt is a cat and dog person, and Foggy is a cat person.
- The three of them watch murder mysteries and Foggy/Matt complain about how wrong some of the people are on them. Karen just sits there because she's not a lawyer LMAO
- They have a YouTube channel called "Defense Attorneys Talk" and they just livestream stuff about previous trial cases/missing persons.
- The little head tilts Matt does when he hears things is so cute he just *tilt* *tilt* *tilt* "there's a bad guy around here"
- Matt suffers from depression. this is canon sadly
- Foggy broke his foot in college by tripping on Matt's cane in the middle of the night. He was using crutches for a good three weeks.
- Matt and Foggy both got a concussion at the same time by falling out of bed. Someone started blaring music at 3am and they both got scared awake. Should I make a fic of this yes or no
- Foggy gets injured worse that Matt does LMAO
