Watch The Founders Of The Startups In The Dodgers Accelerator Give Their Demo Day Pitches Here

On November 10th in Chavez Ravine the Dodgers Accelerator with R/GA culminated in a Demo Day at Dodger Stadium. Founders from all ten startups that participated in the inaugural cohort pitched their companies on a stage on top of home plate to an audience of hundreds of sports industry leaders, investors, and media members.

As Program Manager of the LA Dodgers Accelerator with R/GA, I had the exciting opportunity to produce a pitch event at Dodger Stadium. I convinced the Dodgers to take the event out of the board room and onto the field, where we built a stage right on top of home plate. This was a very special way to introduce our portfolio companies to the LA tech industry.

My role specifically included liaising with the client, coordinating with the stadium venue, physical and A/V build-out, marketing, on-site logistics, presentation storytelling and design, and content capture.

LeagueApps hosts an annual basketball tournament, Ballin’ for Charity, that brings together hundreds of entrepreneurs and companies from across New York City...

Ballin’ for Charity is a charity adult basketball tournament powered by LeagueApps, including pool play and championship games, a family corner, and after party.

As the operational lead of the 2019 event, I led efforts across venue coordination and set-up, participant communications, volunteer management and day-of logistics.

The 2019 event raised $25k for underfunded youth sports programs across the country.

The Jr. NBA is the premier resource for youth basketball players, parents, coaches and league administrators looking to learn more about the game.

As part of LeagueApps’ innovation team, I produced the website for the inaugural Jr. NBA Global Championship which is still in use today. This involved managing the relationship with the Jr. NBA digital team, leading a team of subcontracted designers and developers, and integrating technologies like Spalding Scorecard, Shottracker and LeagueApps into the experience.
