tennis has given art everything anyone could ever want— a fulfilling career, you and lily, and countless influential titles and wins— and with him getting closer to becoming a household name, art’s more than aware of his luck. he’s beyond grateful. however, fame’s a double-edged sword and it’s getting harder to both play into the paparazzi and their mind-games and also protect his family, so it’s not a surprise that art loses his temper when those lines finally get crossed. underneath all the sneaking around hotel rooms and charity galas, both you and bruce long to be understood for more than just your family names and your money. whatever’s going on between the two of you is merely putting a band-aid on a niger issue, you’re aware, but there’s something about bruce that helps you rationalize the less-than-ideal circumstances. a lot can change in twenty seconds… a lot can happen in the dark. jim hopper ・゜゜・．you’re a fighter.
in one moment, all hop had to worry about was you slowly growing more independent and mike wheeler’s insufferable attitude, but now the mind flayer’s set its sights on you and you’ve seemingly lost your powers. setting the mess with the russians beneath starcourt mall aside, hopper’s main priority is making sure you’re safe and away from any more danger. you may be a fighter, but you’re his kid first. (based off “you’re a fighter” by kyle dixon and michael stein!)
joel miller ・゜゜・．western nights.
joel knows you’re not supportive of the violent ways he provides for you, but in a post-apocalyptic world morals are put on the back burner while he concerns himself with keeping you both fed, housed, and taken care of. you’re stubborn, he’s stubborn, but you’d never think of taking off and leaving him behind. this time’s no different. (based off “western nights” by ethel cain!)
patrick zweig ・゜゜・．part of your world.
mermaids were nothing but a mere children's bedtime story— they weren't real. that’s what patrick’s father had told him since he'd been a boy; that the wondrous creatures he believed in with all his heart were nothing but tall tales meant to put the children of new rochelle to bed with little fight. that’s proven to be false when you rescue him from swimming with the fishes for eternity, and now that he knows your kind is real, patrick just has to learn more. he’ll bring you as many human trinkets for your collection as you’d like if you’d let him be part of your world for a moment. (based off “part of your world” by jodi benson and disney!)
tashi duncan ・゜゜・．bodyguard. wlw.
tashi’s always been protective of you since you started seeing each other, but it’s always amusing to see just how worked-up she gets when you’re the center of attention. stanford’s hosting a concert in the park, art and patrick are nowhere to be found, and tashi’s left to keep herself in control lest she “accidentally” scare people off because they’ve looked at you too long. she’ll protect you in the mosh pit, no doubt— but she’s still working on keeping that territorial nature of hers in check. (based off “bodyguard” by beyoncé!)

art donaldson — a young poet eager for validation from his ex wife. his poems sweet, however lackluster of something…eh. don't but it’s missing something.
tashi duncan — a socialite of the century. the duncan’s have made a name for themselves of being the best and only the best when it came to hosting. tea parties, dinner parties, galas they had it all on lock.
patrick zweig — casanova, ladies man. this guy is what we call the fuckin’ it boy. big thing at monet’s and he’s got his eyes set on you the moment you step in. not that he fancies ya or anythin’ he can just sniff a rat from a mile away and he ain’t havin it. but here’s the real kicker…turns out you n him a little love makin sesh not too long ago. maybe he’s just missin ya! poor guy.
carmen berzatto — an aspiring chef! workin’ hard to the bone. day n’ night, i mean from the am to the pm, to make his name through the city of new york. he could REALLY use afriend detective.
felix catton — a brit who moved to the streets of new york for whatever reason. possibly to be free from his family’s madness. the catton family have had wild headlines spread across british papers almost bi-weekly. possibly because of him, but that's beside the point!
santana lopez — did i mention, she’s your ex? damn detective, you get around.
quinn fabray — one of the most talented and not to mention beautiful performers in new york. practically the real reason why monet’s is so popular. (don’t tell her that though, i fear her ego’s already for too large) she’s a diva, primadonna. she’s the whole works.
sofia gigante — a lending hand perhaps?
selina kyle — one of monet’s popular ladies. she gets the drinks goin’, she’s a money maker
bruce wayne — your husband, gasp! though you don’t remember much due to your little head ‘accident’ just prior couple of days ago (totally not that you are a detective who lives multiple lives across different timelines pfffft!) although charming, a gentleman and note the fact that he is quite the wealthy man too, you’ve begun to notice that he slips out the bed at the weirdest of times in the night…huh.
photographer!reader x pros!tashi… let’s all just daydream about the knee incident never taking place thank yew. literally just always being in the background, taking the prettiest candids and portraits of the prettiest lady, keeping these two pics in your wallet at all times. everyone thinks you’re part of her team with the way you always have the camera on her, but 90% of the pictures you take are for you two and you two only. pictures of her naked and perfect all tangled in your sheets, pictures of her under you with a tired smile and hickeys scattered over her neck and collar bones, candids of her making the two of you smoothies that you only drink out of solidarity.
