NSFW Sebaciel Audio. REALLY NSFW.Moaning, Sex sounds, everything.
I think it would be cute that after season two they both live in a tiny house with a cat since ciel technically isn’t allergic now that he’s a demon! And they just spend most of their life chilling in peace and in love
Imagine being a creature potentially as old as the universe itself, spawning alone from the primordial muck at the beginning of time, witnessing the birth of mankind as if it were a wasp's nest appearing on your porch one afternoon, consuming and squashing humanity like insects at your whim—until a few thousands of years later, when you spontaneously encounter the cutest asthmatic preteen and realize what you've wanted to be all along was his male housewife.

Black Butler, The Making Of. Season 2. OVA 3.
That's how you stare at your movie colleague after an explosion scene goes wrong and almost ends up in tragedy.
With those serene, reassuring bedroom eyes. That's impeccable professionalism.
And when you are a method actor, you won't let a seriously damaged ankle disrupt your focus. You wait for medical assistance while diligently keeping your co-star sheltered from whatever is about to fall from above — now with the entire length of your bodies aligned.
Nothing awkwardly homoerotic or suspicious here.
the origins of sebastian's hairstyle
Thinking about this artwork of Sebastian with peacock feathers, black (crow/raven?) feathers, calla lilies, gentians, and peonies (?).
Flower meanings:
Calla Lilies: In Victorian flower language, Calla Lilies symbolize magnificent beauty, and can also be used to express the sentiment of “I am yours.”
Gentians: The Gentian flower meaning represents passion, allure, loveliness, and sweetness. Gentian flower meaning and symbolization is frequently referred to as the “flower of victory,” alongside Gladiolus.
Peonies: The peony flower symbolizes happiness, romance, bashfulness, happy marriage, honor, prosperity, good fortune and wealth.
Feather meanings:
Peacock feather: Peacock feather is a symbol of rebirth and hope.
Raven feather: These feathered augurs embody omens, transformation, and the inextricable link between the mortal and divine.

*Note that they are not just random characters named “Sebastian”, they are all BUTLERS named “SEBASTIAN”. This is of course not a coincidence, but the great legacy of the anime “Heidi, Girl of the Alps” that aired in the 70s. The butler in said anime was so nice and people loved him so much that his name, ‘Sebastian’, has since become a stereotypical & iconic name for butlers in Japanese media.
In other words, if it hadn’t been for this guy
our trash demon would probably have had a different name, maybe Oliver, James or something like that.
Bonus/Honorable mention:
Sebastian from “The Little Mermaid” (1989): he’s not really a butler but he, too, contributed a lot to the “Sebastian = name of a caring servant/butler” image among the Japanese audience :)

This is the first time we've done an event like this! I hope everyone has fun with it!
Kuroshitsuji is not queer-coded. You are not as smart as you think you are. Your opinions about the series, are not factual. The manga has no canon queer ships at all.
I don't know why you're so obsessed with me or why you're trolling me this hard, this feels personal. But just in case. I am beginning to think people have completely forgotten what subtext is. Kuroshitsuji started out in 2006... Kuroshitsuji as a manga is attracting a queer audience, absolutely. I'm going to assume you don't know the difference between Queer-bait, Queer-coded, and Representation... and that's super unfortunate, for you. None of those, are the same thing. It's not scandalous to say that you don't need a ship, in order for a story to be queer-coded and meant to attract a queer audience. The Found Family trope? Queer-Coded. The Non-human/Monster interaction with humans trope? Queer-Coded. Going against Christian hegemony? Queer-coded. Crossdressing? Queer-coded. Gender nonconformity? Queer-coded. Shapeshifting? Queer-coded. Complete transformation of identity? Queer-coded. Even if Kuroshitsuji only had but ONE, of those tropes I mentioned (and I suspect I missed some, these are just the ones off the top of my head). It would still be Queer-coded, and Queer people will gather toward it. Yana knows this. But even if she didn't...? If this story and it's construction was all just one huuuge coincidence...? It doesn't make the story less queer-coded. All that aside. It doesn't actually matter if a creator of any media at all, intended to attract a queer audience or not, if they write with any of those tropes in mind-- queer people will still be drawn to it. A creator can declare their work wasn't intended to attract queer people, or for queer people to be drawn to it, and scream how much they don't like it... if they want to. It wont end well for them, though. They'll alienate a huge portion of their fanbase and also get made fun of, a lot. People will, undoubtedly, ask the question, 'If you didn't mean for queer people to read this, then why did you write about these themes that are queer-tropes and resonate so strongly with queer people?' And, the author usually responds in kind, by showing a steadily decline of quality of their work, and tries to write-in a lot of strange rules and stipulations after-the-fact to try to 'unqueer' their story as much as they can. Or else, they try to write something else and either way, what they write, ends up being a pile a of shit. Because surprise-surprise ... it's actually very difficult to write a good story without ANY queer tropes and queer themes. Look at what happened to the Wizard Author (that's exactly what happened, in case you were wondering). But apparently, I'm not very smart. So believe whatever you want.
The notion that there has to be explicitly stated queer romantic relationships present for a piece of media to be queer-coded in reference to a series that has had, for over a decade, a male-bodied character who has canonically expressed their desire to have a sex change is absolutely fucking insane.
On the subject of the Emerald Witch Arc: my own interpretation is that the scene where Sebastian (seemingly) attempts to consume his soul is pivotal, but to Sebastian and not to Ciel. A lot of people point to Ciel's final words of the arc, "You're the one I can trust the least", as being proof of some sort of personal revelation regarding their relationship but the thing is: Ciel was the one who stood to learn the very least from that moment. Because really, what was the big revelation there supposed to be from his perspective? That the spooky demon he's been telling himself all along is just a spooky demon out to take advantage of him and eat his soul is, in fact, a spooky demon out to take advantage of him and eat his soul? Big shocker. Ground breaking. If you do take that scene at face value, there is no Big Revelation, only a confirmation of what Ciel already decided was true from the very beginning. But then the problem with that interpretation becomes the fact that it's this moment that brings the two even closer in the arcs that follow.
I think it's easy for people to forget that Sebastian is the main character of the series. He's the titular 'Black Butler' and everything in this story relates to his own perspective. Even the servants' backstories featured in the post-ch.150 arcs are told through the lens of how these characters came to encounter and be fundamentally changed by Sebastian, the Black Butler. It is through Sebastian that the story is told and through him that they all circle back. So I think it's unfortunate that people often understate how the events of the series impact Sebastian himself, especially this one, because all signs point to this moment being most crucial for him instead.
His plan for that moment, which I... don't think the casual reader understands very well but what else is new, is to snap Ciel out of the fear-based, Locked In state that he's in. And this is implied multiple times: through his statement about "shocking him once more", through Ciel's dream sequences (which are implied to be orchestrated by Sebastian, who is shown to be capable of entering and manipulating dreams), through Sebastian's removal of the eye bandages in that moment so that Ciel can command him to stop, and through his initial statements in that moment ("Such things are not what you should be doing right now"). His primary goal in that scene is not to end the contract and he even says that to consume Ciel's soul then would not be satisfying, that it would only "fill him up a little bit". He's prepared to claim his soul if he's not successful, but this is first time Sebastian ever comes close to achieving his own goal, which makes everything that follows (especially his speech while he burns the lab) very interesting. And I think this is where Sebastian came to an important realization.
The first thing he does once Ciel has come to is express something like pity or regret, while smiling and with the image of Ciel reflected in his eyes. This is interesting on its own because Sebastian just stated that these were not the circumstances under which he wanted their arrangement to end, so the continuation of their contract as planned was the desired outcome. This sentiment along the lines of "oh, what a shame" is done playfully because he's happy with what has happened, and he smiles for the duration of the interaction because of it. And you can argue that something similar is (intentionally or otherwise) recreated much later in the series, where Ciel's twin bemoans his body's weakness while wondering if this had been how Ciel had felt looking out the window for all of those years, and Undertaker disagrees because the twin is smiling. Despite the words that are spoken, it's the smiling that is the truest indicator of emotion for these two characters—who both want to possess Ciel but in different (but similar?) ways.
The two continue their interaction and this is where we get the "90% earnest" line, which is another thing I don't think people understand very well. People often underestimate Sebastian's propensity to stretch the truth, and while he cannot explicitly lie, he can obfuscate or omit, which he does multiple times throughout the series. And while it's easy to assume he's being truthful with this statement by considering it in isolation, everything he says afterwards recontextualizes it, which is why it's important not to do so. Sebastian refers to what he said earlier in the arc to Tanaka but reframes it; he deliberately omits that what he said to Tanaka was that he wanted to "shock" Ciel out of his state. And he's doing this specifically to feed into Ciel's perception of him as as this vicious beast. His desire to do so is established in the lab-burning scene that follows shortly after.
This is where Sebastian's realization comes into play, and it's a very natural (perhaps even inevitable) progression of the scenes in the Luxury Liner and Public School arcs in which he is desperate to protect and keep Ciel, even at the risk of his own life and to the extent that he disobeys Ciel. Again, Sebastian comes as close as he ever has to claiming Ciel's soul and he's visibly quite happy that it didn't happen. He had the opportunity to be every bit the beast that Ciel expects him to be and he's realized that truly being that beast does not give him nearly the joy that playing this "game" with him does: and to be clear, the game is flirtation. Ciel is the source of his amusement and what Sebastian enjoys is Ciel, his interactions with Ciel, playing "games" with him and getting reactions out of him. And that's why when he plays the role that Ciel expects of him that Sebastian is shown laughing and smiling over his frustration with him. Acting on impulse and behaving like a beast would have been claiming his soul when he had the chance; this would have put his "greatest amusement" to a halt. The foundation for these feelings existed as far back as the Luxury Liner arc and was present during the Public School arc but it's with this moment that these feelings become conscious and acknowledged for the character. And he does this through an empassioned declaration, with an inferno of his own making surrounding him.
And we see the effects of this moment in the arc that follows: we see Sebastian and Ciel conversing as equals, and in the same scene Sebastian differentiates between Ciel and "ordinary humans" (because Ciel is special to him). We see Sebastian dressing Ciel up for Halloween as an imp in which the costume he makes for Ciel features a recreation of his own "ragged cape", and he promises to keep Ciel's "tiny flame alive" as he lights his way into the darkness. We see a song, likely written by Sebastian (and named for his signature chess piece), performed by the Phantom Five that details the contract from his perspective and his desire to "rip away [Ciel's] shame and regret" while the performers pretend-growl like monsters. If the Luxury Liner arc was the first major progression for their relationship than the Emerald Witch Arc is definitely the second because without what happened between them in that arc, we would likely not have had any of the fond moments that followed.
I think this scene establishes something that the Sebastian of the initial two anime seasons was never placed in the circumstances necessary to realize and would have been of great benefit to the lonely, grief-stricken Sebastian who appeared in the Red Valentine seiyuu event: that he has become attached in a way that does not directly pertain to their contract. That his fondness for Ciel is personal and not born purely out of a desire to preserve what he's cultivated. Sebastian, in this moment in the Emerald Witch Arc, realized that he likes what he has with Ciel. He's willing to be whatever Ciel wants him to be, to the neglect of himself, while he burns for him.
Bonus: A very nice touch is given to the above by what is possibly the only instance in the series of two characters being reflected in one anothers' eyes. While there are multiple panels featuring this motif in the series, Sebastian and Ciel are (to my recollection) the only characters where the point is the reciprocation.
w-what if. what if *drops everything I'm holding* what if — sorry, w-w-what if they. what if they... kissed????
Murder arc is full of gems but my favorite is the fact that Sebastian dressed his wifey Ciel for his own death in a gorgeous tailored black mourning suit complete with a skull buttoionaire and black lace gloves. He really said if i die you will slay.
(we don't have to get into the fact that everyone agreed it was out of place for an Earl to publicly mourn a butler, and the scene skipped directly to Ciel in this dashing bespoke mourning suit)
(or the fact that mourning was very important to the victorians and this is definately what Ciel is dressed for)
(not to mention if I remember correctly it involved wearing black as the most intense stage of mourning and widows would wear it for years after their spouses died sometimes, there was a whole teired social framework i dont remember but it is Significant and yes it included details like high collars and gloves for modesty to show that they weren't going to be persuing anyone/acceptable to be persued during the time of mourning)
(and you know Sebastian commissioned and oversaw the making of this suit bc he does this with all Ciel's fits)
(anyway it is so sad he lost his husband in the war)
is he wearing a fucking mourning locket with Sebastian's hair in it
he banned the cake
Y’all: These chapters are so short lately!! Lift your game Yana!!!!
Yana Toboso: “I literally don’t even own a bed”
I really hope that people will stop complain.
Personally the chapter that Toboso gave us are maybe short but they satisfy me. After all she's doing her best. Can't people see all the work that she have! Can't they just be happy for what they have?!?
Sincerely I hope she will have the nicest bed and take a long break. And if she need to not post a chapter for some month, I will gladly encourage her.
I love her work, and the fact that she take so much time to write and draw for the plot and the characters backstory feels me with a lot amount of joy.
I know that maybe she will never see this post. But if she does, she need to know that I really appreciate all the work she does to give us a chapter every month since her story been published ❤️
Sebastian, after sticking his dick in someone else: how dare bocchan keep candy from a female in his back pocket?
Sometimes an official art of Sebastian and Ciel pops up somewhere, and I go, laughing, "Sure, this is how a dad would treat his son."
Like, how does one think like that? How? 😆
I believe Yana is shotacon herself and was told by her publisher to tone it down from that. This was her toning it down. I do wish we could see what she had in mind when it wasn't.
Oh to have your own demon that will cherish you in every way. And eat you occasionally, and not only your soul.
