Since I havent actually posted in a while, I'll treat you all with a bit of an infodump on one of my most favored ocs, Urchin (or otherwise, known proper as Vastum)!
He is about 7'2", uses all pronouns (but tends to use they/them more), LOVES rock, metal, anything that deems as "dark and brutal", really. She really likes to expand her knowledge on music, but isn't really too much of a fan towards country (and one of their girlfriends love country, so it can get a little annoying for them to hear sometimes). I have also given them a voice claim that I will drop right here!
And so far, this is all that I can say about him. Now, let's get onto his puppet form. There is a lot that I can say about this, I'm a really creative nut so this was really fun for me to plan out! Unfortunately I do not have my drawings of the puppet form saved, so I'll use the best of my writing ability that I can to describe their form.
Vastum's puppet form takes a similar approach as a paracentrotus lividus urchin (same as their humanoid form but it's more apparent here). Sidenote, sometimes they have a mouth and sometimes they don't but that's whatever, it's not that crucial to their design. Anyways though, they are heavily inspired by the Field of Spikes. The Field of Spikes are a way to warn others about nuclear waste, they last about 10k years. There may be a bit more that I can say about this, but I suggest that you guys search that up and do your own research! It was a nice genre to dive into~
This form is kind of a defense-type form or a 'tank'. They can't really do much. (I was also thinking that they could also emit something within the area, something that humans should definitely not be around as it could maybe be toxic for them.)
Like I wrote in my quick doodles, their outer spikes extend more as they feel threatened. (And might make the area a bit more lethal from the toxins but again, gotta think on that.)
They are able to extend out spikes within an area around it's perimeter, the spikes would likely grow out from underneath the dirt and rubble, that is as best as I can describe it. v_v I wrote more about it on a server I'm in.
And unfortunately, that is all that I can say for now! I might add small tidbits here and there, but if you wanna learn more about them, you can always send in an ask. I don't mind~
