Glass Animals - Gooey

"Tripping around the tree stumps in your summer smile...Mind my wicked words and tipsy topsy smirk" but would it be so blasphemous to compare some of their metaphorical lyrics to my lover, Keats?

These four Brit boys are about to blow up. Fresh off of their newly released eponymous EP, Gooey is a sensually smooth track that will have your hips swaying so low your panties will drop. I have a weakness for male falsettos and artfully partnered tunes. This one in particular is a hybrid R&B electronic beat that honestly can't be categorized (oh, the beauty of creative engineers and genre bending flows...Europe is truly the pioneer for electronica). It's so well-done that you will never eat your steak the same way again.

If you want to have a taste of their older repertoire, I HIGHLY recommend: Black Mambo.

B.Lewis - Bare Necessities this mind's running sober out of the city tonight

Nylo here. A little introductory post that is long overdue on my part, like eating lunch at 4pm (I believe that eating at 4 in the afternoon constitutes eating dinner later. A meal at 4pm is not supper in which you can half-ass a snack later or conclude with air. Eating at 4pm means your stomach is well exercised for an eight-plus course meal or Korean BBQ around 8pm).

Just wanted to let the public know that I will be posting about my interests. Mainly music, food, and some cultural insights (as I will soon be moving to South Korea), but if I decide to deviate away from my intended subjects, please bear with me as I peruse this chapter in my life. Join me.

Let me just say that I am listening to some lovely beats this fine evening and sipping on some unrated vino that I wish was something a tad stronger.

For those of you who are suckers for packaging, be forewarned. This cute little egg will be a huge disappointment if you are a chapstick enthusiast like I am. Ever since I started using this product, I am constantly picking at my lips because they are always peeling. Even after I apply, it feels like I have to reapply fifty more times. The only thing it does well is maintain a uniform shape as it whittles down.

Nylo and I have been talking about doing a blog together for a long time, and for some reason, 2014 seems like the year to be doing things. 2013 had its moments, but I have a feeling that 2014 will have a lot of exciting new things in store for both of us. For all of us.
