Hi. We’re two trans women who can’t pay rent and bills without assistance, because I’m physically disabled and we’re both almost completely housebound, but we are still fighting to access the benefits we’re entitled to. Until I’m fit enough again, which I’m working on, I can’t go back to work, so we need other people’s help to get by. We need £1500 in total, which covers rent (which they just increased), food, electricity and heating.

the corruption is my fave entity because the concept of being so desperate for companionship and joy that you will take the things that nobody else loves and cherish and adore and take comfort in them? really good

i’ve seen a couple people say stuff like “why do people like jane so much, she’s gross/less developed than the other monster girls” and like... NOT TO BE HEAVY but for me it’s literally. that things she says in hive give me huge bpd/trauma vibes and she just makes me incredibly sad as a character.... tbh after the first time i listened to hive i just. did not relisten to it for over a year because it hit too close to home in a really really uncomfortable way haha...

i relistened recently though, and i enjoyed it way more - i remember someone else on tumblr talking about how the things she says show that she understands the corruption/the entities a lot more than the protagonists/the audience at that point in the narrative and the more we learn about avatars the more i think about how, aside from the body horror, she’s not that different from mike or jude or annabelle - she’s someone who chose to lose her humanity for her own reasons, and while i don’t condone becoming a flesh hive/killing people with worms i AM a big fan of seeing fictional traumatized women say fuck it and embrace all the awful stuff that they feel forced to identifying with but arent supposed to claim (and i am very firmly invested in the notion that jane’s avatar transformation was her choice, in the end, as much as jon’s was his)
