Okay, so I lied. This is the last one. Click through for the link!
This is probably the last from this site that I'll be posting, but there are many other beautiful options that you could incorporate into any outfit. Look around and see what you like!

This ring is extremely beautiful, and it actually looks a lot like I picture the elven ring of power Vilya (Lord Elrond's ring) to look like.

The jewelry from this site is stunning beautiful and really elegant. Check it out!

Elven makeup tips:
If you're trying to create an elven makeup look, whether for cosplay or just for an everyday look, it's best to remember that less it more. Whites, silvers, and lighter colors are best for creating an effortless elven look (unless you're going for a dark elf or blood elf type look). Remember, elves are supposed to be naturally beautiful and graceful! I'm neither though, so makeup definitely comes in handy. You can pick up a shimmering light palette pretty much anywhere, and I know The Icing sells some cheap shimmering eyeshadow. You want to create an ethereal, otherworldly effect. Wearing eyeliner is fine, as long as you only apply it to the top eyelid, not below, otherwise it won't create the doe-eyed look you want. Try experimenting some in order to get the effect you want. I'd recommend using just some lip gloss on your lips, or a nude lip color, as lipstick tends to draw the eyes' focus. Remember, subtlety is the name of the game!
This etsy seller focuses primarily on Victorian and gothic styles, which are very beautiful (and also expensive!). Many of these pieces can be successfully incorporated into fantasy/elven looks, and besides, they're gorgeous! Check them out!

This store features a collection of beautiful hand made pendants. They're on the upper-side of my budget, but considering how much time and money they must take to create, it's quite worth it. These would be a great addition to a Lothlorien inspired outfit.

Another item from the same seller. This one you can definitely see around Lord Elrond or Lord Celeborn's neck. This fits the refined style of Imladris or Lothlorien perfectly.

Another beautiful bracelet perfect for any Imladris or other high elven inspired ensemble!

This etsy seller has so many beautiful accessories that capture the style of Imladris perfectly. Blue or silver accessories seem to capture the theme best, but all of the creations are beautiful. They're also pretty expensive, but definitely worth it. Check it out!

The first fantasy reference I'll be using for inspiration is Imladris, also known as Rivendell, from Lord of the Rings. Imladris is the home of Lord Elrond, and it certainly is a beautiful place. It is known as the Last Homely House for a reason, after all! Feel free to share any Imladris inspired clothing, accessories, makeup tips, hairstyles, or whatever you'd like!
Welcome to the Blog!
Hey all, welcome to the new blog.
Essentially, I'll post some tips and tricks here on how to modernize fantasy elements into your daily life, fashion, behavior, etc. The content will not be limited to elves, although a large portion of the blog will likely be dedicated to elves. If you've found anything interesting you'd like to share, feel free to! Fairies, dragons, elves, wizards, you name it! Anything is fine, even renaissance, victorian, couture, etc, as long as it goes along with the overall theme/feel.
A lot of the things I will be posting here is what I practice in my daily life. I love the fantasy genre, and I love showing that in subtle ways. I'm not one for labeling myself and others, because I think it gives wrong impressions and closes many doors for those doing the labeling, but to be honest, I'm pretty nerdy in a lot of ways. I love DnD and LoTR with a passion. My mission with this blog is to share the things I've learned with you all, but I certainly am not an expert on fantasy, nor am I an expert at life. So please, criticism and sharing your own tips are very much encouraged.
