LUNAGANCE
Lunagance is my new best friend. Got to build a cool new head and some thrusters and stick them on top of the mecha legs I had already made. Here are a few closeups from Blender.
Küster
I recently discovered Maschinen Krieger and became obsessed with it. Spent the weekend modeling and rigging the Küster, the most complicated model I've ever worked on, just so I could pose it and bring it onto Bryce.
Here are a few detail shots from Blender. The texturing was done in substance painter, then the 2d view was rendered out for use with Bryce and Blender. Also a bonus gif of me playing with the rig
how is Winds of Basidia coming along? I loved the first game you made for it: it was my favorite Madvent Calendar game!
Haven't seen any posts about the sequel in quite awhile, so for a second I thought it was a fever dream!
Unfortunately Winds of Basidia is on an indefinite pause. Both Bryce and I want to keep working on it but we needed to focus on other things for now.
Zaku II
I downloaded a free Zaku model to plan out a paint scheme, but I had to bring it into Bryce. Here is the real-world version shot with a crunchy digicam. (The red shoulder is temporary)
System class GSV "Determinist"
"General Systems Vehicles were like encapsulated worlds. They were more than just very big spaceships; they were habitats, universities, factories, museums, dockyards, libraries, even mobile exhibition centers. They represented the Culture-they were the Culture."

How do you make the models you use for Bryce?
I use a bunch of different methods! I make most of the more complicated models with Blender, but I also download free models from sketchfab and similar sites.
For simpler objects I'll model them in Bryce using primitives and Boolean operations. I recently dug up a tree modeling program and have been using that often as well!
