I have been a fan of charmed since it aired. I still admittedly watch every episode as if it’s brand new. So.. when I heard that they were going to reboot the show I was beyond ecstatic. Since the show is taking place in the 70s The original Halliwell sisters won’t have much to do with it (since Pure was born in 1970, Piper in 1973 phoebe in 75, Paige in 77). I’m going to go into this with an open mind and looking forward to see what they do with the show. From what I’ve read it that the three new charmed ones have no relation to each other, but have a bond that is just as powerful. I also read that the charmed one (Halliwell sisters) are able to tap into the power of 3. Makes me wonder if that is part of the reason Grams bound their powers. Think about it right after phoebe was born they had there powers bound and then in 1998 after they all moved back go them again. I just hope that some how we have the original and new show tied together. I’m a huge charmed fan so.. can’t due this without finding away to pay respect or mention the sisters themselves.
