One of the funniest and wholesome things in all of star wars, is that Hondo, a criminal who does all sorts of crimes, has pointed guns at children and threatened them, Is unapologetically pro Jedi.

Like this hardened criminal is actually willing to fucking help Jedi against the empire WITHOUT profits mind you. Like I'm sure he gets profits, but he has no reason to publicly out himself as a Jedi sympathizer against the empire, that's way more trouble than it's worth, but he does it anyways. The man had 2 interactions with Kenobi on the same team and decided to support Jedi for life lmao.

I am completely sure that Hondo Ohnaka could be dropped into the ATLA universe and absolutely nothing would change. He would still try to kidnap the magic child, lose repeatedly, and insist the entire time that they were the very best of friends. The magic child would agree.
