"Beavers? Can’t say I ever met a beaver up close before." Until now. Did he count as a beaver, or a person? She thought it best to stay silent on the matter, lest she unintentionally said something rude. "I got two dogs back home though!"

Dusty hesitated as she processed what he meant. Oh. She smiled awkwardly in response. “Well, uh, nice ta meet’cha too, Toothy.” The sooner the topic of the Spy whose limbs she assumed had been gnawed through was dropped, the better.

He moved from one side to the other with the comb, straightening out his whiskers and fuzz. 

"Wot brings yew to the base, Missus…?"

Toothy didn’t really have her name quite yet.

"Yew can also just call me Toothy. Oi think yew can see why that’s the case, hehe."

"Dusty. I’m Dusty," she said. She couldn’t help chuckling behind her fingertips as he said what his nickname was. "Heh, yeah, I can see why people call ya that. I’m just here to visit my baby, Scout."

The splice greeted the woman as he was brushing his facial fur.

Well, the stranger’s appearance was…quite something. But Dusty made a point of being polite; she’d seen a number of strange things, and had her experience of strange…she remembered the Okapi legs she had been…generously given a while back, though she didn’t care to recall.

"Oh, hey," she replied, smiling politely and offering the splice a reserved wave.

"Remember though that once you’re spliced, you’re stuck loike that. So MAKE SURE you really wanna be that part animal. Oi bloody love bein’ part beaver, to be honest. Though Oi do have a bad nibbling habit."

Lee inspected the Snipers hand curiously before reaching out to shake with her own gloved one. “Nice too meet you too.” She chuckled softly. “How did you end up the way you are, Toothy? If its alright for you to say.”

The Pyro jolted, turning and pointing her flamethrower at the splice. She slowly lowered it. “Mm? Oh, hello…?” Her muffled voice was quiet. No one could even tell it was a girl in there. She offered an awkward wave.

"How are you, mumbles?" He chuckled, a beavery tone to his voice; fitting for his splicing. "You can call me Toothy."

She placed her flamethrower on her back. “Pretty good. I have gotten any injuries today. Thats always good.” She nodded. “Well, Toothy, you can call me Lee.”
