What nobody knows? He bases the books on murders he commits. He has no feeling, entirely apathetic, sadism the only inkling of anything, persona a lie-

He knows all the words to make you melt like butter, honeyed words and sugary compliments. You’re fast friends.

He offers to show you around his house. It’s not a mansion by any means (so he says) but it’s large.

You end upon his bedroom, where you’re too entranced by the artworks and commissioned clay mask to notice the chain on his bedpost… or the syringe he holds to your neck.
