The vision has been realized! With the help of Rit Dye (royal blue, two rounds) and Poppy's eyes. She's wearing a Barbie dress with the bodice folded to fit her better, held in place with a ribbon.

Got a bunch of the Barbies out of storage yesterday as I wanted the box to pack something else more efficiently, and they can sit on the shelves in front of the standing Rainbow High dolls.

Reviewing them prompted me to go look at faces and the skintone MTM match charts to see if I could potentially expand my little plastic Birds Of Prey & Friends cast.

When I first got Looks #12 (Fryda) I got Wonder Woman vibes from her, but since changing her clothes and sitting her near Looks #13 (Victoria, who is my Babs) I think she works for Helena Bertinelli / Huntress? And Yoga Swirl (Purple Pants, curvy brunette) might be Wondy. Or someone else, who knows.

Having trouble figuring out a Dinah Lance / Black Canary, but I at least have some black fishnets courtesy of Monster High. I've got a few blonde Millies but I don't know if they vibe right. Looks #16 (Andra) had potential but I wound up not getting her. She's almost too retro Hollywood glam? Same with the blonde Odiles.

(Half tempted to just throw the fishnets onto my blonde MTM Ken and sew him a little bodysuit.)

As we know petite Fashionista #145 (Mbili) is Cass, I'd prefer to get her onto an MTM body but I want her to stay petite and the only options currently are expensive character dolls, so that's not happening (yet). Found that redhead Fashionista #232 (Daya) is also a petite, so I've ordered her to be Charlie Gage-Radcliffe / Misfit.

Spent a looooong time figuring out a potential Lady Shiva (give Cass ALL the moms) and I've settled on the 2024 Holiday Barbie with the Crystal face sculpt. Her hair looks like it'll mesh really well with Shiva's 1980's & early 90's styles. Ordered yet another blonde Millie (Yoga Swirl, Blue pants) so I can transplant her onto an MTM body. Considered going with the volleyball player because she's a Tall MTM, but I was trying to get over the free shipping threshold.

Ordered a second Deluxe Style #2 not to be any particular character, just because I love her.

I've had my eye on Fashionista #234 (new sculpt?) since she was released because she has a sweet face and I love purple. Looking at her with DC in mind, I think she might make a good Talia al Ghul? We'll see once she arrives.

Tribute to Juan Gabriel (Odile) is on my Someday list; she's be a perfect Selina Kyle / Catwoman, but alas, collector edition prices.

I love that they come in basically the same outfit; silver top, black skirt, silver gladiator heels...they even both have purple eyeshadow!

Introducing the Magical Hearts Key Team* *name may change

Center: three Disney fangirls (of Ariel, Rapunzel, and Ursula) are caught up in a magical adventure when the Heartless attack their world. Now they travel from story to story, wielding Keyblades and making new friends.

Right: (purple) Isabela Madrigal, local from one of the first worlds saved, whose family is always happy to host the team when they need a break from the Heartless. (Mint & gold) the Jasmine Replica, created in an experiment to see if the powers of a Princess of Heart can be copied. She's nervous of what her original may think of her, and carries a stuffed tiger for comfort.

Left: (hot pink) Draculaura, a citizen of Halloweentown who was sick of how old-fashioned, gray, and repetitive her hometown is. Maleficent promised her a way to visit other worlds all the time, not just on Halloween! How could she resist? Originally the one to direct the Heartless attacking the fangirls' world, Draculaura now has her own Gummi ship and helps them out. (red & black) Queen Amaya is the Team Mom who taught them how to summon Keyblades along with other magical skills. Her past is a mystery; what happened to her world? How did she learn magic? Why does she seem so sad when saying, "A dream is a wish your heart makes"?
