12/13/16 - 33 weeks!

A day after I wrote my 32 week update, I was hospitalized overnight for preterm labor. They pumped me full of fluids and kept me monitored. Thankfully my contractions ceased and I didn’t dilate past 2 cm. I was given four different cervix exams and two steroid shots in my bum cheek (24 hours apart). We were released all in good health!

Definitely a terrifying experience, but we were able to learn a lot and I think we will be able to better prepare for the real deal.

12/06/16 - 32 Weeks

The girls are so active, we've been catching glimpses of their little limbs 😍 I have become so forgetful, it's ridiculous! Most of the maternity clothes I bought or borrowed for the second trimester no longer fit over this bump..including this EXTRA LARGE tank top 🐳 hahah. Pregnancy is beautiful, terrifying, and really really really uncomfortable. I can't imagine lugging this belly around for another two months, but our girls are healthy and not showing any signs of wanting to come early!!

11/15/16 - 29 Weeks

This January we'll be blessed with TWO daughters, Skylar and Grace👭 Our hearts are bursting with love! Mama and Papa cannot wait to hold our sweet girls🌹

Grace (baby A) currently weighs 2lb 11oz and Skylar (baby B) weighs 3lb 4oz!! No problems have been found aside from discovering I am anemic. We celebrated the twins with our work family and had a fun little gender reveal :) We’re loving the transition into parenthood!!
