This is why I don’t sleep much these days 🤣

I got into a good pattern with my fasting blood sugars and haven’t needed to go on insulin.

Then I had my first appointment with the dietitian and she told me I need to eat more carbs for baby’s brain development.

I was a bit surprised as I felt like I was meeting the targets. She set my carb target fairly low as I am small but apparently I’m just not quite there yet.

Yesterday I started adding in more carbs and BAM, my fasting sugars are now out of control 😞

It’s discouraging and I feel like it’s walking a tightrope between managing different risks.
