Yes Buffy definitely would have fallen for our soppy poet William. Look at her in s4 with Eddie. He's shy and awkward and loves to read. And he was her first friend starting college. I saw some discussion on whether she would fall for william and she absolutely would. He would have fit in so well into the scoobies too *. *.
