#exactlyyyy #I think on Buffy his pathetic lameness comes off as very irritating #because it often actively gets in the way of Buffy and the scoobies in one way or another #but on his show he’s just socially awkward and trying his best which is quite endearing #and he isn’t being weirdly obsessed with a high schooler which is a big plus for making him likeable #an adult man with adult friends and interests? good
