So after a lot of thought I decided to post this - I’m making comic based on a Drarry fic. (ohgodohgod) Fic by digthewriter and I got permission from them.
I wasn’t sure if I should do this as you see I’m brilliant at not finishing projects and I didn’t want to show a half finished project to the interwebz. But I guess now I have to, right? Haha! Hah, hahaha…. ha…
I’ve been struggling a lot with my art skills. For over two years now, whenever I was drawing something, practicing over and over again, I felt it’s just not great, I dont like it and I didn’t know why. It was pretty depressing considering drawing WAS basically my life and I grew up using my drawing skills to socialise and to take pride in. I associated myself with my art and having that rotting away in front of my eyes was not a happy place.But I decided to force myself a little after waiting for such a long time. I always had this vague dream of having my own comic made someday. I’m still unsure if that day will ever come, but I wanted to at least prepare for it a little? I wanted to finally do something, like a project that will boost my confidence at drawing a little again. Something that reminds me the of the joy of it. Something to FINISH.So here it is. It’s not great, it’s not bad but this is where I am at the moment and I will work on it to get better. But I need to be a functioning adult and actually finish a project no matter what. Self discipline eh?Plan is that I post a new page each week.Wish me luck.I hope you’ll like it. <3
