I need to say something. So. Bighit. A year and a half ago they started this shit with I Need U. They built up Yoonkook’s relationship, hinting right and left in such way that even the non kpop fans that watched the videos caught the drill. In the prologue. When they were all touchy + the scene with the lighter and the one by the sea. In Run. Touchy again. And their fight. In the japanese MVs. Though they weren’t together, it was obvious as fuck that their actions and sets were connected (Jungkook burning the flower and Yoongi’s lighting up as well, at the same time, for example). Everywhere. So, they “finished” HYYH with YF. They didn’t give us answers. I was ready to let it go. But then they dropped BEGIN, and everything started all over again. I thought that this comeback would be the end of HYYH’s story. So, Yoongi’s drawing… The piano on fire… Jungkook screaming “hyung!” Then First Love. Don’t @ me we all know that everything about that video was about Yoongi remembering and trying to find Jungkook. The car crash that “killed” him, the whistle… Everything… Except for the bath tube. I thought “oh well, I shouldn’t worry, the story is obviously still about Yoonkook’s relationship”. The other 2 couples were still there in the short films, as well. Then they dropped the photos. Honestly, I was expecting this too. And Bighit didn’t make any Yoonkook photoshoots in the past anyway. But this. Listen. I haven’t seen the whole MV yet so I won’t be a major bitch about it but this doesn’t make ANY sense, like AT ALL. The only “connection” that Jimin has with Yoongi is that the first one is connected with water and the second one is connected to fire. Honestly, I’m not mad about Bighit making them the central couple in a comeback. But if they were going to do this, WHY DID THEY MAKE US BELIEVE THAT THIS WAS GOING TO BE RELATED TO HYYH. LIKE. WHY. I don’t understand. Why didn’t they make up a whole new story in which Yoongi and Jimin were all touchy and looking at each other lovingly and shit, whyyyyyyy whyyyyyyyy are they destroying the ploooooooooooot. Why. Just. Why. Like, I know, as I said, I should wait for the whole MV but… I don’t know, I’m just sad ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ with the plot twist, that is, the rest of it is pure gold. So. Yeah. That’s what I wanted to say.
Questions for ereri shippers
Before you think that I’m trying to start a shitshow, I want to clarify that I only want to understand the fans and the fandom better. I only joined 2 years ago and I constantly came across ereri shippers and their content when I was not looking for them. I always found this ship and their fans perplexing so there are a few things I’d like to know. I will thank anyone who is willing to answer some of these.
Why do you ship ereri?
Do you read the snk manga chapters that don’t feature Levi and Eren together?
Why do some of you insist that there’s canon evidence for a romantic relationship between them? clue: there isn’t
The majority of the content shippers make is sexual. Are you aware of the fact that the age difference between them is 15+ years with Eren still being a child?
If you are under 18, would you date a 30+ year old man in real life?
Why do you consider Eren mature?
Do you agree that whatever the law says about age of consent is okay?
Why do some of you feel the need to tag other ships in your ereri posts that have nothing to do with ereri?
Do you consider yourself a fujoshi?
Is Levi portrayed in an extremely feminine way in most art and fanfics to conceal the age difference between him and Eren?
- Because, like every shipper in this vast and ugly world, I happen to find them cute together. I like the way Eren respects and admires Levi, and I like the way Levi is like some kind of mentor for him and saves Eren's ass lmao - Of course. Shingeki no Kyojin is my favorite manga regardless of my ships. - I don't know about other Ereri/Riren shippers, but I don't consider SnK a romance centered story. Maybe, maaaaaybe YumiKuri (? Anyway, what I do know is that Levi is Eren's rol model... And that Levi thinks that Eren is the cleanest person in the SC, and he said that his ideal type is a person who meets his cleaning standars lol (? Oh and clue: idc I ship it anyways *nails emoji* - In our world and society Eren is a child. In SnK's he's old enough to be a soldier and die for humanity so I'm pretty sure he's considered an adult there. And even if it wasn't, after the last chapter we can assume that, if electricity existed, they all lived during the XVIII century more or less...? If that's correct well, my grandmother got married at the age of 14 with my grandfather, who was 27. And it was legal, lol. Honestly, I'm so done with this old-ass argument like... If you don't like Ereri/Riren that's fine, don't ship it. No one's forcing you to. But don't bring me the age gap crap, we all know that Eren's not an innocent little boy... - I'm 20. I have never liked anyone in my entire life so if I happen to fall in love with somebody, regardless of their age, I would fricking go for it (? - Because he does things that a kid wouldn't do. I repeat, he is an adult in snk's universe. - And I repeeeeeeat... He is an adult in snk's universe e_____e' our laws don't mean shit there because people are different, their society is different, their teenagers don't do the things our teenagers do, they are adults who fight in wars. Adults. Period. - Idk, I'm not "some of us" -.- But I'm pretty sure I've seen Eruri shippers bullshitting in our tag in more than one occasion as well, so... - I think so (? - I'm a Riren shipper and I don't like femenine!Levi, therefore I try not to look too much into Ereri stuff (? But I don't think they do that to "conceal" the age gap, they just like femenine Levi and that's ok. I like my ukes a little femenine too. In fact, most of us don't even care to think about or mention the infamous age gap.

That’s bullshit. Erwin blamed himself for a lot of things and honestly, knowing that he died and let Armin live instead of him… With that thought in mind he must be now, finally, resting AT PEACE. Y'know, for years he conciously let people die under his command for “the greater good”, but now HE was the one who gave his life for somebody else. It was noble as fuck, but yall still whine about how shitty his death was(? Seriously… And stop, STOP saying that Armin is useless because he is NOT. Erwin said so himself. He’s brilliant and has saved half of your favorite snk characters by now. Peace and out.

I didn’t say it was shitty writing when I thought Armin was dead =___=’ You know, half of my favorite fictional characters are dead and not even once I thought their respective mangas/animes/books/movies/whatever were shitty because of it, that’s it’s stupid, selfish and disrespectful towards the author and the rest of the fandom. Being an immature fan just because everyone is acting like one doesn’t make you any better, being rude just because everyone is being rude doesn’t make you any nicer and throwing temper tantrums won’t bring Erwin back to life, it will only make a lot of people angry for no reason but to ease your own pain.
