Hey, if someone wanted to do a cover of one of your songs, what would be the best way of buying the mechanical license? Usually I use a dedicated website, but I'm not sure they'd have access to vsynth producers, plus they take an extra cut and I'm a cheapskate.

If you want to monetize it, you probably do have to attain the cover license somehow. I use distrokid as my distributor- if that helps! I wouldn't submit a copyright claim for an original arrange cover, I just don't know if the system would automatically come after you.
