Heya! I'm Mono (she/her), a bisexual & ND animal/anthro artist that primarily does Sonic art! I'm the creator of Sol Dimension Expanded (SDE), an AU focusing on expanding the Sol Dimension through worldbuilding. Although it's not an open/collaborative AU right now, there are plans for it in the future once I've established more of the lore. Along with new locations & lore, SSDE also contains several OCs, including my main, Vendetta! She's the primary OC you'll see around here.

Commissions

Commissions are indefinitely closed. I just don't feel fulfilled or like it's worth doing them. I may reopen them if I have a financial need, but for now, I mostly sell adoptables on Ko-Fi!

- Fanart is super cool! I do my best to acknowledge all fanart I find :)

HD Sonic Riders Wallpapers!

Hey! If you didn't know, I've been recreating a bunch of wallpapers released for Sonic games along with making custom wallpapers in their style all in a 16:9 resolution. This particular batch I want to show off regards Sonic Riders. I've tried to recreate these wallpapers as accurately as possible and so far I think I've done a great job. As a bonus, I've made custom wallpapers for Storm and Amy and some of the other characters.

And for as maligned Sonic Free Riders is, I noticed it had no wallpapers made for it, so I decided to try creating some original wallpapers since I really like the aesthetic Free Riders goes for (I love Frutiger Aero) and I think it looks so good that it can be mistaken for official!

(It's not. The only way to see Shadetta as selfcest is if you use the same logic someone would use to say Sonaze is selfcest - completely different characters/people, and not genetically similar in the slightest)

Will you make vtuber tutorials?

Hey anon!! At the moment, no, I don't have any plans to. I generally avoid tutorial content since I really struggle to word myself in a way that'll work for a general audience. (I'm bad about using big words and assuming ppl know things they don't.)

Also ngl I've still only worked on 3 models ^^' I feel very unqualified to teach. However, I know there's a huuuge gap in the market for Sonic VTuber tuts, and last I checked, resources are nonexistent for mono eyes. Will definitely consider making a tut on that once I've hammered out a reliable technique (I have a semi decent technique rn but both eyes MUST be linked for it to work)

No but girl your designs are 🔥🔥🔥 let them hoes be mad. You do what you want 💯 Your friends going to be greatful af. Your adopt quality puts all the plain basic species naked Sonic oc adopt artists to shame and your still insanely affordable for your size. You could charge over double 💸 and itd still be worth having any design from you. Never listen to a jealous anon who gives you shit about adopts.

I don't like comparing myself to other adopt artists, but truthfully if I ever have any influence over the market, I would like to encourage other artists to be more creative/unique with Sonic OC adopts. I do get what you mean with "plain" adopts - fun concepts and themes are so much better imo. I try to keep my prices pretty fair - I try to set them at rates I feel good selling for without underpaying myself.

Dude what??? Did you miss the part in the last ask where I said the skeledog was on my Ko-Fi for weeks?

It WAS for sale - nobody bought. I often release designs early on Ko-Fi, many OC designs sell before a vid even comes out. There is nothing stopping other folks from doing the same - in fact, I appreciate my early adopt buyers like crazy!! Ko-Fi sends out emails when the creators ppl follow update their shops.

Regardless, I'm allowed to gift a design. This is the first time I've ever done it, and I'll do it again if I want to!! A lot of my designs sell just for me to never see them again, since it's not like I follow most of my buyers. I really liked this design, so I want to keep appreciating it from afar. Nothing is stopping you from designing your own skeledog themed OC, or paying someone else to design one for you. In fact, more power to anyone else who makes one, lol.
