Primary weapon is bioelectric pulse. Center of Kaiju's chest is the culmination point of bioelectricity and when struck with any force, will detonate and release powerful electromagnetic cloud that can reach up to 100 miles/160 km away. DO NOT LET KAIJU CHARGE THIS ATTACK.
Other weapons include horns, claws, spikes and tails. All are incredibly powerful and can rip through jaegers easily if a hit connects straight on. Spikes are located all over kaiju's body, most significantly on the top of its head, shoulders, elbows, knees and heels.
The main tail is not flexible, and can only attack over or under the kaiju's body. It can move about 30 degrees right or left but otherwise no range of motion. Tail is about 600 ft (182m) long with a reach of 100 ft (30 m) over the head and 590 ft (179 m) under the legs. Other two tails are whiplike and significantly faster but do not seem to have same dexterity as main tail.
Kaiju's mane is electric and can shock uninsulated gear. Grabbing it or touching it can short jaeger controls and lock pilots out of their rig.
Kaiju's neck is also incredibly strong and can upset a jaeger's balance if a jaeger is caught between the horns or grabbing any part of its head or upper neck. Strategy has concluded that jaegers should aim low and defend high for this kaiju.
"Deerfang" is an assault type kaiju. It on its own is stronger and tougher than any other kaiju ever seen before. Unlike other kaiju, this one does not hesitate to attack despite its primary weapon being the EMP. Ballistics do not injure it enough to slow it down and while its jaws are not a threat, everything else is. It kills on sight, and adapts to incoming attacks.
This Kaiju requires maximum firepower to kill. It is the first priority in battle.
Silver Spectre has proven to be the best countermeasure.

"Gem" was made out of frustration. After losing so many kaiju- and so many new iterations of kaiju- she was made on a rage-induced violent impulse.
Every single weapon in Precursor history was crammed into one design and sent off to bring back the remains of whatever it was she killed. It was not energy efficient at all and while she is the ultimate combat machine, she did have issues with stamina and was not able to return home.
But, she was crucial in discovering that Earthlings aren't metal and electricity, but flesh and blood, just like her.

Notable weapons are the giant wings, long pointed beak and its hooked talons. Wings function like additional limbs and are armored so the blows land as strong as normal swipes. Each talon is very sharp and hard, able to dig through jaeger armor easily. Beak is rarely used in combat but like its talons, can pierce through jaeger armor with ease.
Kaiju is heavily armored. While its limbs appear spindly and weak, kaiju keeps vulnerable parts close to its body and raises forelimbs or wings in defense. Its wings, underbelly, and forelimbs are coated in hard armor that appears to be either identical or very similar to reinforced steel. Sparks have shown during clashes.
Even when getting through the armor, the round forelimbs appear heavily armored with fat or non-essential muscle to absorb damage.
Kaiju's neck and head are armored with interlocking scales that are made of the same substance as claws and beak. Piercing these scales is nearly impossible unless the scales are flared into an open position. Scales only flare when kaiju's head is pushed back into its neck. Appears to be a kind of threat display.
Kaiju is able to fly. Strategy has determined to never let this kaiju get airborne since its lower limbs are its most dangerous weapon and can easily incapacitate a jaeger if it gets high enough.
[Note] Kaiju appears very buoyant and has a hard time submerging after surfacing.
"Terrorbird" is a tank type Kaiju. Its body is meant to sustain high amounts of damage to wear out a jaeger and give kaiju an opening to use its claws. Once the Kaiju surfaces, all jaegers are to shut it down as soon as possible.
Glacier Gallow has proven to be the best countermeasure.

"Grian" was the first kaiju built since "Slattern." He was made to be a test at first, a sacrificial kaiju to see if Earth was still inhabited (since of course time works differently in and out of the Anteverse). He had been built with every defense mechanism in store. He wasn't even given a mouth and instead had a blowhole on the top of his head to breathe.
When the first attempt turned out to be a failure, he was turned into a vanguard meant to protect the more utility-based kaiju. Attempt after attempt, changes were made to improve his design until he had quite literally become the perfect tank.
Some changes were hollow bones or blubber under the hard armor to increase shock absorption and encourage flight. Which, in version four, he was finally able to fly.
in the final update, all of "Grian"s body armor was exchanged for lighter and more comfortable keratin plates. He had no use for it anymore.
He is the most experienced kaiju and is extremely loyal to his creator.
