Yun Chobyeol (korean: 윤 초별; born July 30th, 1996), known professionally by her stage name Star, is a fictional South Korean rapper, dancer, producer and songwriter. In May 2015, she made her debut as a member of the co-ed group Monsta X, under Starship Entertainment.

Piercings ☆

[right ear: 5 piercings | left ear: 6 piercings]

Star got her first piercing on her left ear in 2008. It was a simple earlobe piercing. A couple months later she got the same piercing on her other ear. In 2015 she got one ‘helix’ piercing on each ear and two ‘upper lobe’ piercings on each ear as well. Her latest piercings were the ‘flat’ piercing and the lower helix on her left ear and the tragus on her right ear. She got those in 2019.

Star’s favorite flowers are sunflowers and they also represent her. Therfore, in early 2018, she got her first sunflower tattoo with a tiny butterfly. This is placed on her lower back, a little off to the left side.

Star owns an iPhone 11. She has simple black headphones that she has decorated with gemstone stars and black ribbons. They look so cute in her opinion. Her phone case has black and white stars on it and the words ‘Shinning Stars’. Shownu gifted her the phone case.

Star’s lock screen is a photo from her golden retriever Arlo. She had left her phone laying on the grass while playing with her other golden retriever, Dawn. The camera app was still opened, and the phone wasn’t locked. Arlo had walked up at somehow managed to touch the button with his nose, taking this precious picture. She set it as her lock screen as soon as she noticed. Her home screen is a simple aesthetically fitting picture she found on Pinterest.

Star’s Dorm Room

[Dorm Room]

Star has always had a single room in the dorm. Her current room is in the non-snoring dorm alongside Kihyun, Minhyuk and Changkyun. Her room is a mess and filled with instruments, plants, and skateboards. She has her own studio corner in her room, which makes it easier to work on a day off. She has a very crowded desk full of music equipment and lyric sheets. Her skateboards rest on walls or underneath her desk while her cameras often lay on her desk. She has plants everywhere. Hanging from the ceiling, standing in the corners, hanging on the walls, and standing on her desk. It is a messy room, but she always knows where everything is.

Star owns two golden retriever. Both of them were from a shelter. They live in the dorm with her and are well trained, since she put a lot of effort in their training.

Arlo

Arlo is a golden retriever, and he is Star’s first own dog. He was given into a shelter with 13 months old because his former owners had gotten pregnant and didn’t want to keep him. Star adopted him in 2017 when he was two years old and started training him. He follows her to almost every schedule. He is well behaved and always happy to get some good pats. He is 8 years old by 2023.

Fawn

Fawn is Star’s second golden retriever and also from a shelter. Fawn was only 4 months old when she was given into the shelter. Apparently she was meant as a Christmas present to her owner’s children. Star got her in March 2020 when she was only 6 months old. She and Arlo trained her so that she can come with her to her schedules. Since then the three of them have been inseparable. By 2023 she is three and a half years old.
