- @rnmbarb had seen @im-the-best-one at the Mak'n'Bacon, and she figured as long as she didn't provoke her, they would be able to co-exist in the same space-
-Barb hadn't told Robot and Monster about her last interaction with Sidekick catching her at the beeping tones factory, and she intended to keep it that way-
-even so, she didn't want to be rude, so Barb acknowledged Sidekick with a respectful wave and a nod-
"Hey, Sidekick! What have you been up to since the last time we talked? You're not still mad I snuck in the factory during your lunch break last week, are you?"
OHHH LOOK WHO DECIDED TO RUIN MY LUNCH BREAK AGAIN! IT WAS ABOUT TIME YOU SHOWED UP ONCE MORE. I'VE BEEN, YOU KNOW…
FIXING UP THE MESS YOU MADE.
LOOK, TACLES HAS ALREADY FORGIVEN YOU AND IS LIVING WITH IT, SO I CAN'T COMPLAIN TOO MUCH, BUT I GENUINELY WANT YOU NOT TO BE AS UNBEARABLE AS YOU WERE THAT DAY.
-Monster noticed the tension between Barb and Sidekick, so he was quick to step in and be the middle man to keep things balanced-
"Hello, Sidekick! I see you've made friends with @rnmbarb ! What 'day' were you guys talking about?"
**please don't tell me you caused trouble with @im-the-best-one of all people, Barb!**
"Barb can be a little prankster sometimes, but she doesn't mean any harm! I'm sure whatever she did was harmless, wasn't it?"
-Monster hoped that Sidekick would be understanding, but this was Sidekick and she took nobodies shenanigans, nor the nonsense.-
"I'm glad that Miss Tacles was kind enough to let Barb off with a warning. I'll assure you that it won't happen again. You know kids. They can be crazy! A little coo coo in the head! Heheh! I'm sure she's learned her lesson this time."
-Monster looked down at Barb, knowing her pranks were starting to get out of hand, but he didn't have the heart to yell at her. That was Robot's job.-
OH LOOK, IT'S THE FULL OF SUNSHINE AND RAINBOWS! WELL WELL WELL, YOUR LITTLE FRIEND HERE DID SOMETHING THAT COULD HAVE GETTED ME FIRED. MAKE SURE SHE DOESN'T COME BACK AGAIN, OR THE FIRST THING YOU'LL SEE THIS MORNING IS HER DECAPPED HEAD! WOOF-HAHA!
-Sidekick gets up from her seat and, approaching Monster, grabs him tightly (I don't know how she doesn't have hands) so he knows this isn't a game.
-Barb watched as Sidekick grabbed onto Monster, and she felt herself getting heated up-
"Let him go! It wasn't his fault, it was mine! I'm sorry I ruined your break and risked your job, okay? But don't take it out on my dad- ... Don't take it out on Monster."
-Barb wasn't going to just stand there and let @im-the-best-one disrespect @monster-krumholtz over something she did-
"Let Him Go, Sidekick."
-The lights above them would start flickering slightly as Barb's agitation flared up. Looks like Sidekick finally hit a nerve.-
TSK, IT'S ABOUT TIME
-She lets go of Monster with all her might. Monster fell down the floor like a teddy bear
WELL, I'M GLAD TO KNOW YOU CHOSE THE GOOD ENDING! WOOF-HAHA! NOW LEAVE ME ALONE, I HAVEN'T EVEN FINISHED LUNCH YET!
-Monster was glad that @im-the-best-one decided to back down, especially when Barb got brave and vocal. Although if Barb hadn't spoken up then Sidekick very well could have given Monster his beating of the day.-
"Have a nice rest of your lunch break, Sidekick! It was good talking to you!"
Like usual, Monster would have his big smile plastered on his face, feeling as though everything turned out alright in the end.
