Pandora puts a white lily behind Violate's ear, her cold fingers carefully arranging her bangs afterwards. "... Good."

Violate looked quite dumbfounded for a moment, staying completely still as the woman positioned something behind her ear, something she didn’t have the chance to see, as she had been taken by surprised. After Pandora’s comment, the Behemoth slowly moved her hand upwards, gingerly touching around until she found what had been put up there. “...A flower?” For a moment, she still looked confused, but soon she snorted and smiled widely at the Commander. “To what do I owe this pleasure? It’s such a nice thought.” She was still gently poking at the flower, humming a little.

   And immediately after Violate accepted his invitation, Regulus smile grew larger, blue irises shining against the sun’s light. He jumped to the nearest rock formation, facing the north direction, his body in position, ready to run. “Then, I’ll race you to that river right there. Not too deep and agitated, it’ll be fun!” He shouted some kind of promise, perhaps, pointing at the greenish spot further up. “See ya there!”

   Propelling his legs and knees, the boy started to move in incredible speed, leaving behind only dirt and the Behemoth. Trees shook where he passed, the ground trembled beneath their feet and the whole place seemed more alive than ever. Violate might dislike surprises, but Rugulus was all about them - and somewhere deep inside, he knew she would have fun with that too.

   Maybe.

Violate barely had the time to turn her head and glance in the direction of the river the Saint was talking about- As soon as her head was turned, she heard (and felt) a sort of booming noise that made her hair fly to the side, blinding her for a moment: had the boy just dashed away at the ever so renowed speed of sound that the warrior of Athena could reach? And did he just...

Challenge her?

Right before starting his run? The Behemoth was in clear disadvantage, but that didn’t mean she’d give up right away, oh no- A grin grew wide on her face as she faced the right direction. “...You’re not getting away.” Violate inhaled deeply before using one of the rocks as trampoline for her jump: afterall, that was how the Garuda’s Right Wing started up- By colliding with the ground and dashing away.

I love your Violate so much, she is so strong and funny and interesting. I really love her, thank you for bringing one of my favorite characters to life.

   Pandora was about to explain her situation when the beautiful - and angry - woman said a very problematic word. One of the worsts anyone could say. And because the girl was as impressionable as she was naive, Pandora could only stare at Violate, her mouth almost hitting the ground.

   “Ooh… You said something really bad, lady!” The reprehension came into a slow whisper, just like her mother used to do when she had said something too pervasive to one of her male guests. Not angry or disappointed, a mere warning about her manners.

   But she still held her thigh firmly, like if she let her go, something horrible would happen.

   “B-But I don’t know where they are now, I just run away without looking back–!” And those violet eyes still stared at the Behemoth, wide open.

Violate looked at the girl with a spooked expression right before crossing her arms with a sort of pout on her mouth: really, was she getting scolded by a child because she excercised her right as a grown-up to use swear words? Where was the world going? “I am sorry, I guess?” That was a big, fat lie, but there was no time to argue with a girl about the improper usage of the world commonly used to define... Many things. Really, who never said ‘fuck’ conjugated in any way?

Even though the girl had reprimanded her about her language, she still had no intention of letting her leg go, something that only inted at the Behemoth that whatever or whoever was chasing the child was something that terrified her- And Violate’d take care of that. “Alright, I will go take a look. Just stay behind me.” It was hard to walk with someone clinging so she lightly tapped the girl’s arm to subtly tell her to let go- For simple comfortableness matters.

Kagaho sat up, picking a splinter out of his hand and flicking it away. “It’s Kagaho,” he corrected for the nth time, though he must have been becoming resigned, because it didn’t bother him quite as much as before. “You don’t know enough about me to judge the strength of my will. I just wanted to see what yours looks like. It’s not my fault you were easily provoked.”

That might not have been fair. Kagaho had already had a good enough idea of which buttons he could press. He finally took the hand offered to him, pulling himself up off the floor. Stepping back, he stretched out his sore arm and rubbed his shoulder.

“I can understand those sort of feelings, too,” he said, lowering his arm again. “I also had someone that I was fighting for.” Someone that he would have done anything for.

“Kagaho, Birdie, whatever-” Violate shook her head before rolling her yes: why couldn’t the Bennu accept the nature of a nickname? It was an affectionate appellative usually given to people she usually cared enough about or wanted to mock- And really, in the young Specter’s case, it was something in between. Hard to discern, especially because she never felt the need to understand what was her point of view on Kagaho- She liked him and that was enough.

The Behemoth stuck her tongue out at the other warrior, looking almost offended, this time. “No fair, no fair. I am certain you knew all too well what buttons to push.” She never made a secret out of how much she cared about Aiacos- It was an all too easy win, that one. However, she was quite surprised to hear that even the grump himself had someone to care for- Not that it was strange, everyone at a certain point had a special person, but- Kagaho was really good at making it look like that wasn’t his case.

“...Really?” She scratched her head a little, feeling that maybe her judgement had run way too ahead of herself. Violate slung her arm around the Bennu’s neck, dragging him closer with a much more convinced grin. “Looks like I won, though, eh? Y’know what it mean, riiiiight?”

He wasn’t sure if this was going to end up well if he did tell–correction. It wasn’t going to end up well at all for the one who did this. Letting out a sigh, Alone smiled uneasily and wagged his sleeve a little to get the slime to come off of it. “…it was the frog. But I suppose he had a good reason–”

“The fro-?” She didn’t even finish her sentence, she didn’t really need to- Because if there was someone the Behemoth didn’t even count as a Specter was exactly that guy- Zelos. What was up with him anyway? Always snickering when people walked by or jumping about when one less expected it. Once he had the bad idea of doing that when Violate was walking and as a result she had been scolded for having broken the ceiling of the hall with a flying frog. “...Oh, he will pay. I don’t know how- Maybe I can just throw him in the Acheron, this time?” There’d be no broken walls, right? So it wouldn’t be a problem.

“…is it strange?  It’s just part of his face, I don’t think I’ve ever said that it’s hideous.  If anything it’s his facial expression that’s a problem.” Aiacos smiles and taps her lips softly.  And really, just because he never said otherwise, doesn’t   “Those who are strong do not need a symbol of their strength.  They are simply strong.”

He kissed her cheek lightly. “You are strong.”

“It’s just that I’ve just seen two people with that, so I thought it was something...Special?” She stirred a not-so-convinced smiled, suddenly feeling just a little bit naive for even thinking of that in the first place, but... There was no real regret. At least she learned something new, she supposed.

Violate didn’t quite expect the kiss on her cheek and she felt her eyes widen a little at the gesture, her hand almost instinctively going up to touch the spot that had been kissed- Now, that brought a huge smile on her face. That and the compliment, of course. “I am strong, yes. And I aim to be stronger.”
