“That just hurts my feelings, what did I do to deserve this kind of punishment?” He couldn’t even say the entire statement before a small grin appeared. “Alright, this is why wrestling is my day job.” A pause made. “So I have a question for you. When am I going to get to see you in that bathing soon?”
Along his flight home, Colby had wondered if things between himself and April would be tense the moment they saw each other again. They never really fault over again, and the fact that they had this full blow out while he was over seas, it was only natural to worry. But of course that wasn’t the case, in fact it felt as if they hadn’t fought at all. “Yeah, it was good. I couldn’t wait to get back home.” A pause made. “Wait, did you say you have cookies? If they’re chocolate chips, I swear you could do any fucking thing, and I’ll forgive you,” he replied, a small laugh escaping him as they made their way toward the car. He placed his things onto the backseat before getting in on the passenger side. “So where are these cookies? I need to try one asap!”
He liked the fact that she wasn’t afraid to say what she felt or what she was thinking, it only attracted him to her more. “Since I’m in a good mood, I’m going to let that slide.” He smirked. “More progress made.”
More than likely Ash wasn’t going to be shown until the ending of the show, so even if they were late it didn’t matter. “I think we can pull it off, but shouldn’t you run it by your Dad first? He might have something huge planned for New Year’s.” He could only imagine the way Ric would react once he knew that Ash and he were officially an item. Since he wanted to make the night one they could remember, he pulled out his phone to see if there was anything going on he could surprise her with for the night. “How you ever been to a Broadway show? Asking for a friend.”
“I’m thinking New York city.” He pulled out his phone to look at his schedule. “I don’t know how I missed this, but we’re taping Raw that Sunday, so guess who’s all yours New Year’s Eve.” He flashed a small grin her direction. It was the first time in a while that he had actually been looking forward to the upcoming holidays. “I hope you like football, because I have to see the Bears dominate before I leave.” His favorite football team had been doing extremely well the whole season, and he was almost positive that they would be able to keep it up during the playoffs. “By the way if they make it to the Superbowl, we’re going.”
Logically now that Z wasn’t with Daria, you would think she wouldn’t want to attend any of the future Hall of Fames. But Colby knew her, and he knew if there was a way she could make it happen, she would. “I wouldn’t put it past her to show up with Raya. They’re still cool, right?” When Gionna asked him to lean over, the last thing he expected was for her to take a picture of them. “You’re posting that to your Instagram? I wouldn’t be surprised with her.” He replied. He reached for another slice of pizza, loading it with pepper flakes just like the other two slices he ate. Once he was sure Gionna posted the picture of them, he reached for his own phone just so he could scan through the comments he was sure was already posted. “Five bucks she’ll unfollow you after texting you.”
It was a good thing Maryse slowed down when she did, because at the rate she was going, it would have been only a matter of time before he reached his climax. “No...” Tone breathless. “In fact I think we should move to the backseat, give ourselves a little more room.” He allowed Maryse to move first before he followed suit, and because of the alcohol that still remained in his system, he almost lost his balance and fell on top of her. “My bad, babe.” He said once he was settled. “I’ll make it up to you.” He reached to help her out of the clothes she was wearing, sliding his hand into her panties, to rub at her slit in a teasing manner before that material was finally removed as well. “This what you want, baby?” He asked as he continued his teasing motions.
The last thing he expected was for Becky’s wager to be them going on a date. If he was being honest he had always felt this attraction toward the Irish woman, but because of their friendship he had never dreamed of acting or even telling her about it. “Wait a second...You wanna go on a date with me?” He asked, a slight grin finally appearing. “So the truth finally comes out. Tell me something, Becks? How long have you been into me?” A pause made. “Looks like rather I lose or not this is a win/win situation for me, but my wager, what should I bet, what should I bet....” He fell silent as he tried to think of something great. “Okay, if I win, you have to not only tell me I’m the man, but wear one of my shirts on Smackdown.”

He was actually surprised that Jenni agreed to watch Lillie the whole night, and because of it, Colby wanted to take full advantage of it. Who knew when they would be able to pull it off again, with him being on the road all the time, and Nattie set to start training again. “Awesome,” he said as he started the drive back to the house. The whole way he was plotting something amazing for them to do. “Babe, I need you to pack an overnight bag. I have a surprise for you.”
By the time Pate had placed Weslee in their bed, he was fast asleep. And to make sure they would hear him when he woke up, he made sure to turn the baby monitor on. “He’s good, but he has his moments.” He said once he rejoined Nattie. “He gets really cranky if he’s woken up too early.”
The longer they spent on the ice, the more he felt at ease, and the more he could see them both returning in the future. “You wanna head back home? I actually was thinking about inviting my Moms out here. But we can head back, it’s been a minute since I’ve been back.” And maybe him going back was the better plan, he would get to not only see his family, but a few old friends as well. “You know she’s going to flip out when she sees you again, I swear she never stopped talking about you, even after we fell apart.” It was like the older woman knew they would be together again one day, who knew she was right. “We can head back, but I’m letting you know now, I want you to myself come New Year’s Eve,” he said with a grin.
He had to admit she was good, and he was almost tempted to not do anything to her. But in the end, he only got her face wet. “See, I didn’t get a drop on your hair, you’re welcome.” He splashed a small amount her way before allowing his laughter to come out. He couldn’t remember the last time he had so much fun with anyone, hell if he was being honest, he hadn’t had any real fun since he made the move to Florida. His life had been basically work, work, work, and no play. “Hey, there’s a spot over there where you can rent a jet boat. You down?”
