"What nonsense are you speaking of?" A dangerous aura began to surround both him and the anonymous, Saix was clearly not tolerant of such accusations. "Only a moron would believe such a thing."
Arrival
So he expected her to answer his questions when he refused to reply to hers? A crease formed between her brows, it was evident he wasn’t about to give her any straight answers just like his friend. She also had to be cautious on what information she gave away, while he was likely from the same universe as herself there was no knowing who he affiliated with and what his intentions were. Dead or not some people remained wholly loyal to their cause or group no matter what.
"You know it?" Otherwise he wouldn’t have pointed it out, no one else had commented on it so it must bare some familiarity. "What do you think it symbolises?" A slight tilt of her head as she wasn’t about to completely give herself away. There was a chance he was thinking the same way she was and would also refuse to give anything about himself or where he was from, at this rate they’d end up in circles.
"Considering we’re dead I don’t see why you’re being so secretive," knowing he was likely to turn the question around on her. Unless these secrets were the type you took to your grave…and beyond. She’d at least mentioned several things in regards to their universe, he’d barely said a word.
Saix dedicated his entire existence as a Nobody to the cause of the organization. He cast away anything that was useless and dispose of whoever dared interfere with their goals without any sense of hesitation. His devotion came with lots of consequences that he was willing to take, even the lost of someone who was once a dear friend to him. He used him and kept a lot of secrets from him. So, who said that he was now willing to share those simply because he was dead? A scoff. How simplistic. "Considering we're dead..." He repeated. "I don't see why you're so determined to seek answers of a universe that is long lost from our reach."
"Unless you know how to get back, those answers you seek will serve no purpose." He continued calmly, gently pulling back his hood. He was done with these charades.
"But to either ill your heart or put it at ease." Something he had zero interest in.
[ooc; Ah, winter break is such a wonderful time of the year. 2nd best time of the year after summer vacation~ There are still a couple of things I have to do before its officially winter break, (even after classes, the university won't leave me alone) so replies would come slow for now but they will come! I also need to re-watch Saix scenes, to get a better feel of his character. I'm still having troubles with him =x= but I refuse to give up like with other characters! So, yeah, just bear with me for a while longer sdfjhkfkjlks; Oh, and if anyone wants to roleplay with Saix, just let me know~]

"I have thought of it, actually. You just don’t sound very certain that that’s your reason," he answered with a sideways glance. "It doesn’t matter. I am done ‘playing’. The district is just a little bit longer. If you like, I can answer any questions you have in exchange for you answering mine. About myself, or about Zeshea."
He wasn't planning on giving up with his inquiries any time soon, was he? He suppose he could admire the man determination to get answers or simply dispose of him. He had to admit, however, that he was interested in what the other had to say. He knew absolutely nothing about this realm. He wanted to get the intel and if the other was more than willing to provide him with answers then all the better. "Very well, I'll take you up on that offer." Whether he'll answer truthfully or not all depended on the other's inquiries. Then again, what did he had to lose? He was already dead to begin with.
"How about we continue this conversation once we reach our destination? Unless you have other duties to attend to afterwards." He'll prefer to do this in his assigned home, away from prying eyes. Though, he had a feeling that the meaning of privacy didn't quite exist here. Exhibit A standing right beside him.
Regaining What Was Lost [Saïx/Axel]
Axel hadn’t been alone very long when first arriving in this realm although being with a stranger certainly wasn’t as pleasing as being with a friend or someone that one was familiar with. As much as the other was open to developing new friendships he would always have a select few that he felt more comfortable with.
"Ha, reward me? Don’t bother." He wasn’t doing this for any type of payment after all. He was simply lending a helping hand to the other out of his own good will. He would’ve been bothered if the other decided to give him something for it really wasn’t necessary. He continued to walk onward, keeping a slow pace so that the other would stay close by. "Well I’m not sure if they’re essential, however, I know that eating is. And even if they weren’t.. do you really think I’d give up sleeping?” A laugh escaped his lips, a smile forming on them as he turned back to Saix. “You out of all people should know about that.”
"Hm." He wasn't used to not giving someone some sort of reward for doing him a favor. Especially during his time in the organization, though those weren't exactly favors but demands from himself. Still demands, favors, orders, it brought the same results in the end. Besides, he didn't expect anyone to do him a favor out of their own good will, anyone that knew him that is. But no matter, he wasn't planning on arguing over it with the other at the moment.
"Hmph. How could I forget that I'm speaking with the reincarnation of sleeping beauty herself?" Yes, he knew all too well about Axel's sleeping habits, painfully so.
[ooc; ah, is been a while since i last logged on here but atleast ill be able to get back to roleplaying this weekend and finally take this character off hiatus! FINALS WILL BE OVER BY THEN AND YES, HELLO WINTERBREAK, I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!]

"Then, why are you so shy, if you having nothing to fear from me?" It was curiosity in his voice, now, now interrogation. He wasn’t entirely sure that people would believe he had nothing to do with it, when he was very clearly escorting a black-clothed man to these quarters. How many people owned such long, black trenchcoats, after all? And maybe killing was celebrated in Zeshea, but Zeke still didn’t want to have that stain on his reputation.
"I could be self-conscious, you know? Have you thought of that?" He lied. He could care less about his appearance to be honest, but he didn't felt like revealing himself- not yet at least. It could be out of habit, having to previously hide himself behind the black cloth when visiting other worlds, who knows. "How much longer do you intend to play detective?" Though he noticed it was no longer interrogation but just mere curiosity, Saïx didn't want to answer his inquiries. If anything, the other man persistence was getting to him a bit. "Or would you be a proper escort and show me where the district is?" He added calmly.
Regaining What Was Lost [Saïx/Axel]
"Yeah, that’s why I offered to help you out. It’s not exactly a fun time when you end up in a place alone and have no idea where you are or how things work. If this means anything to you.." There was a pause. "I’m quite relieved that you found me so that you don’t have to go through all of that alone. It’s always good to have someone you know around you."
Despite all of the strain their relationship had been through over the years he still considered the man to be close to him. Friendship was something that truly never faded; not even with the passage of time. Memories and feelings for the other would always remain, if not at the surface, deeply embedded in one’s soul. Loneliness was something that he never enjoyed nor would he wish it upon anyone else. Saix was here with him now and suddenly he didn’t feel so alone.
He gestured for Saix to follow him outside of the apartment complex, turning a corner and walking down the street. “Hm, I suppose I’ll show you places where you can eat first. We still have to sustain this body of ours.”
Saïx wasn’t known for his patience, tolerance being one of his absent virtues. Thus, he fully understood and agreed on Axel’s words. Ending up in a realm alone wasn’t an enjoyable experience. He wondered, if the red-head spoke of it from personal experience. How long was he alone when arriving on this realm or did he quickly found someone to escort him?
Saïx was indeed grateful for Axel’s aid on the matter. Though he never truly or properly know how to express his gratitude. The words that left his mouth was the only manner he knew to repay others for their effort.
"…I’ll be sure to reward you for your help." Saïx didn’t know how yet but he’ll do so. Following the other outside of the apartment complex, Saïx soon joined Axel, walking by his side as he let the other guide him. “I assume sleeping and exercising are essential as well then?”
[ooc; I have three exams for this Monday along with an oral presentation. I was planning on getting to replies this weekend but that doesn't seem to be the case any more orz I'll get to them on monday ;n; semi-hiatus until then]

A short, but clear, answer. Zeke could get behind that. And the guy’s behavior didn’t have as bad a vibe as his dress did. It was time to try being honest, at least for now. "In case you do get into trouble, and people accuse me of helping you, I want to be able to identify you. I’m not about to judge you for your looks.” Zeke paused briefly. "If you’re new to Sh’tori, you’d better be careful. There have been a lot of murders. Though, if you die, you will come back to life regardless."
"I assure you I won't." For once Saïx didn't lie and was completely honest with his answer. Causing unnecessary conflicts would get him nowhere. He would do his best to prevent them as much as possible if such complications present themselves. "Even if I were to get into such predicaments, they wouldn't accuse you of helping me when you weren't in the scene to begin with. And without seeing my appearance, they won't be able to tell that I'm the same man that you were with on this day." He continued and let the other man's statement sick in. So, even though you were already dead, you could still get killed and die, huh? Well, wasn't that a happy thought.
Regaining What Was Lost [Saïx/Axel]
Saix had always been quite skilled at observation and piecing facts together so he was right in his assumption that Axel had been down here for quite a long time. He was unsure if the other knew how he had died although he didn’t feel the need to disclose this information with him. No doubt it would be met with insults and scorn. He figured that Saix was probably defeated and killed by Sora and so there was no need to ask him about it either. And did it matter anyway? They were both dead and down here and that was that.
Saix had gone quiet, seemingly done with all the inquiries he needed answered from the redhead although he made no motion of leaving. It was odd, really, for his visits were always with a purpose and once that was done with he would just leave. Certainly this was new, wasn’t it? Maybe he should take this time to continue chatting with the other and even help him out.
"So, would you like a tour of this realm?" He asked, figuring that it would be the best course of action.
It was just recently that Saïx's soul had arrived in this realm and this artificial body had wandered through the city streets. As a result, Saïx barely knew his way around. Surely, he could use the help of the other. It would take him less time this way than doing so on his own as well and If there is an easier and faster way of getting something done, he'll take it.
Adverting his eyes from the window, Saïx turned to face Axel. He was surprised by the redheads offer, usually it was Saïx that asked for his aid, not the other way around. Nevertheless, he accepted his help.
"Well...Alright." Saïx answered, taking the remaining steps towards Axel. He waited for the other to lead, in whichever form of transportation he chooses. "I just arrived, so there isn't much I know about this realm."
Arrival
He gestured for Saïx to follow. “Are you looking for your room… or visiting another?” Zeke knew, at least, where the living quarters were—at least, the living quarters for the humans. He wasn’t entirely satisfied with the answers Saïx gave him, and his suspicion was obvious. What other choice did he have? He could understand Saïx’s problems about clothing, too. Zeke still hadn’t earned enough money to get another outfit, either, and was wearing his uniform from life. Sans the armor, of course. "I do have one other request, then, if you will humor me again. I would like to see your face."
"My own." Was his answer as he began to follow the other, golden orbs taking in his surroundings as they headed for the assigned district. Eyes falling upon unique individuals as they pass through. This realm was nothing like any world he has ever visited. And that only caused Saïx to be more wary and guarded of his surroundings.
"My face? But why should my appearance matter?" Saïx inquired.
[ooc; I apologize for not being able to roleplay this past week, professors have been quite the difficult group with their assignments and so on orz I'll get to replies tomorrow, since I'll be done with most projects and stuff~]
Regaining What Was Lost [Saïx/Axel]
Axel silently observed the other’s actions, already knowing what he was thinking about. It was quite depressing, really, that they would forever remain heartless and emotionless beings, unable to go back to the way they were, unable to enjoy life or death to the fullest. If he had his heart he would certainly have broken down, over the loss of his friends and his heart. Maybe it was better this way, to escape the pain. But then again he knew that the positives of having a heart outweighed the negatives.
"Larxene is down here but to be honest I haven’t seen or heard from her in the longest time. I don’t know where she has run off to…"
"Hm, I see." Was his only response. Perhaps, not every soul ended up coming here or they arrived during different periods of times. From the looks of it, it seems Axel has been here for quite a while. And though he didn't know when exactly did the red-head ceased to exist from their universe, it couldn't have been that far apart in time from his own death. Well no matter. He doubts he'll ever fully understand this realm.
He stopped his exploration of Axel's room and shifted his gaze towards the outside, were Axel had been looking before his intrusion.
Now that he didn't have anything else to say, an unsettling silence invaded their conversation. Saïx was never one for small talk. He always went towards Axel with a purpose in mind, whether it was to send him on missions or to simply retrieve reports. Their encounters always fairly short. Now, however, he came without any purpose, except to verify if it was indeed Axel. And he wasn't making any move to leave either, when usually Saïx would have left when being done.

"Whether it’s my business or not, I’m asking you about it. And don’t think brushing me off will work so easily," he retorted. Zeke couldn’t even see the face under the hood—it was too shadowed. There was no telling if it was human or demon he was talking to. This was the way he’d gotten killed the first time. Interrogating someone without a weapon or defense of any kind. But it was for the good of the city, wasn’t it? To draw out the murderers that walked among them. "I will ask this instead, if you don’t want to answer those questions. What are you planning to do?"
"Either way, I'm not obliged to answer your inquiries." Saïx answered, giving a slight shrug of his shoulders. The current situation was ridiculous but amusing in a way, the other was being far too reckless. Confronting someone with self-created assumptions based only in appearances? It wouldn't surprise him if the other has been severely injured because of this before. "But fine, I'll humor you."
"Why do I wear this type of clothing was one of your questions, no? Well..." He paused, taking a moment to see his wardrobe, his left hand taking a hold of his right arm sleeve, holding it between his fingers. "I suppose my sense of style is odd in comparison to others. Perhaps a change of look is in call?" He let go of his sleeve. "Though, I'm pretty fond of my choice of clothing. It'll be a pity to dispose of them." A small sigh escaped the blue haired man lips as he finished his sentence. "As for the other question. I have no specific destination in mind. Can a person take a stroll through the city without being interrogated? But since you got out of your way to do so, you might as well help me with something."

"I guess not, Saix," Axel answered, a slight shrug of his shoulders following. "I mean I thought that as well. I didn’t think there would be an afterlife.. at least not for us."
He was somewhat turned off by the fact that they still had to exist without a heart. The both of them would never regain it now would they? The thought of that was unbearable. He had desperately wanted his heart back too but perhaps not as strongly as Saix. Saix was willing to give up everything, even friendship to attain that goal. Axel was not.
Saïx's hand raised and settled itself on his chest, where his heart should be. It clenched slightly before falling to his side once more. They perished as beings without their hearts, only to be brought back without them as well. What a sick joke. Honestly, it was surprising he has yet to lose control. Considering how harsh this reality he was thrown in struck him. The mere thought of knowing that all of your actions were in vain, was enough to drive anyone mad. Even more so to someone, who yearned his heart as obsessively as him.
He gave a step forward, finally moving from his spot and began to mindlessly walk around the room, his golden orbs falling on various on things. Saïx didn't say anything else about the matter, for there wasn't anything else to add on his part and instead ask another question that has been lingering on his mind. "Do you know if the others are here as well?" He didn't went into specifications, knowing it was obvious who he was referring to.

Perhaps it was a little naive to think she’d get answers straight away, or perhaps it was simply out of despondency. She could do nothing, help no one and leave promises unfulfilled, and these individuals adorning identical coats could at least shine some hope on a rather hopeless situation. Brows creased as she remained a good few feet away, there was something unnerving about someone who purposely hid their face. At least the one with red hair had seemed nice, but just like him she felt no presence, no affiliation to the darkness or light. "It doesn’t seem like you’re about to give me any answers either," she murmured in slight frustration.
"So I’ll get to the point, I believe you come from the same place as me, same Universe at least, you know about the Dark Realm right?" She inquired, but honestly didn’t believe she’d get a straight answer but it was worth asking any way. Their secrecy hinted that perhaps they couldn’t talk about it, but it seemed they just didn’t want to, which made her believe they weren’t to be trusted. "And I believe you and this red haired man can give me information, it’s just that he seemed rather determined to keep it hidden from me," a brief pause in her very direct inquiry. "That’s why."
Doubtfully from the same home world, but yes, from the same Universe. Giving the young woman before him a careful look, his golden hues fixated themselves on the crest placed upon her chest. He felt he has seen that crest somewhere before, back when he was a Somebody on Radiant Garden but he couldn't quite recall. It's been so long since he has thought of his life as a Somebody... While on the organization he had no time to think of such trivial matters, only the completion of Kingdom Hearts was of importance.
He took a couple of steps forward to get a better look at her crest, but he still maintained his distance. "What of it?" He responded in concern of the Dark Realm, but didn't gave her time to answer and instead continued with a question of his own. "That crest on your chest...what does it symbolize?" It even looked familiar to an upside-down Nobody Symbol.
