I finally fixed Tia’s expression + design note sheet. It’s mostly for myself as personal reference in case I ever end up doing “serious” stuff that requires more attention. 🪷 It’s also a lot closer to what I was meaning to go for all this time but kind of had to do a pesky thing called “learning,” and hands don’t learn as fast as the brain.

PSA: Art-stealing bots in PHM, Bloodymary and related tags

There are bots stealing art, mainly PHM and Bloodymary from what I've seen, though scrolling through their blogs I've seen they're also in other fandoms (such as TADC and Pokemon), so they're also likely in other fandoms, but I'm mainly focusing on PHM and bloodymary fandoms since I'm in them. The bots mostly seem to focus on canon characters, not OCs. All the posts from these bots have links to scam sites. If the art they stole is a part of a series, then the links to the scam sites are disguised as links to other parts of the series (which is how I got tricked, luckily I'm using an extension (ublock origin) that blocked the site). Do not trust any links that say something along the lines of "check out my other PHM art". I've made a small list of the bots I found, so please report and block them, especially if you're an artist. Feel free to put any other bots in reblogs and/or comments, regardless of fandom!

I am aware of what you’re talking about, but that “leaked” image that’s circulating is actually Tumblr user @moonielightstar’s fan art that was reposed without credit.

The biggest tweet reposting the Neige and RSA!Megara art has 460k+ views, 16k likes, 2k retweets, and 55 comments. (That tweet is now deleted, thank goodness, but because it blew up, the image has spread to Facebook, YouTube, Tiktok, etc.) The original art on Tumblr has only 350+ likes, 40 shares, and 25 comments.

All the attention the reposters got should be going to the actual artist, so please go support moonielightstar. If you can, please spread the artist’s name on other social media platforms and ask reposters to take their reposts down (or to at least get the artist’s permission to repost).

The Twst fandom unfortunately has a HUGE problem with reposting other’s work (art, translations, writing, etc.) without credit, and it is not discussed enough. It has happened to me, to mutuals and friends, and to several creators I don’t even know, and it is very disrespectful to our time, skill, and efforts.

Another thing: PLEASE DON'T AUTOMATICALLY BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU SEE ONLINE, especially if it is not posted by official Twst accounts. Reel in your emotions and double check your sources before you go spreading misinformation.
