something I’ve noticed in fandoms lately is a lack of… object permanence? perspective? Just reacting to each episode/chapter of something as if it’s final & whatever plot line they dislike is the status quo forever? like…… have a tiny bit of patience

I kinda understand because a lot of franchises lately have ended in shoddy and poorly thought out ways, but tbh either have some faith in your fav show or just write fanfic

What are some hairstyles Tia would love to try out if she didn't have to worry about the maintenance or time for said hairstyles? Or is she content as is?

Tia is content as is and has her usual routine down to a science. She doesn’t really actively think about deviating from her usual style all that much when she has other immediate priorities on her mind like… food prep or something for her Ramshackle restaurant I mean “Gourmet Club” activities, or surviving alone with monster custody in another world. Or some other arbitrary goal she gets tunnel-vision over. She likes things in her life a certain way, and that extends to her hair. I don’t know if she ever winds down enough to really think about trying anything new, or if she’s all that personally interested. Besides, she likes what she has ✨

Every character has a “thing” and that one’s hers.

I think, however, about different styles all the time, I like giving her different stuff especially for events. But, I’m not her, I’m the omnipotent artist.

canon is what happens in the text. e.g. merlin tries to poison morgana

a headcanon is a fact that you have personally made up as an elaboration of canon. it is your invention. e.g. i think morgana and gwen had a teenage lesbian situationship before the events of canon. or, i think modern morgana would love evanesence.

an interpretation is how one reads the existing text. it is not an invented fact nor is it a headcanon, it is a reading. e.g. i think merlin tries to poison morgana out of misplaced self-hatred. or, i think that one line was delivered with suppressed malice and shows a nuanced relationship.

fanon is the general fandom’s accepted headcanons and interpretations that elaborate or recontextualize canon. e.g. merlin is a badass waif and morgana is a bitch.

these are all different words with different meanings.
