Please make absolutely sure you've deleted the old files (afHairShortAfro, cuHairShortAfro and puHairShortAfro) to avoid conflicts.
I've done some new things to enable a different hair per gender for the children which can result in some texture glitches on the CF version. I also edited the Cloud Puff to be closer to the scalp. Read more about that all under the cut!
The child version of this hair had a different CASP per gender, but unfortunately they referenced the same mesh. When I replaced one of them, the other one would also be replaced automatically. That's why the boys also had the afro puff before.
Not anymore! I have finally found a way to overcome this. Unfortunately the toddler hair was really a unisex hair (so only one CASP) so I couldn't do the same for them.
It's not foolproof unfortunately. This way of replacing causes texture glitches on townies that already had the hairstyle previous to installing the default. It's different than the 'normal' texture glitches you sometimes see when starting a new save: they don't fix themselves over time and also don't disappear when you change something small on the sim. Instead, you have to manually reapply the hair in CAS on the affected sim.
I did some testing and it only seems to happen to sim already wearing the hair before installing the default. So newly generated sims. sims you make yourself or sims aging up in the hair shouldn't be affected. But, I might have missed something, so please let me know if you encounter texture glitches with the CF hair (besides premades that already had the hairstyle applied, that is). I really want to know!

Normalerweise bin ich nicht so ein Fan von Shells, also Hüllen. Ich lade mir auch keine Welten runter, die zu 99% aus Shells gemacht sind. Das ist für mich fast ein Fake….ABER…es gibt Ausnahmen; und so gefällt mir von EA das kleine Rabbithole “Der kleine Korsare” Bistro so gut, dass ich versucht habe, es 1:1 nachzubauen. Die Grösse des ganzen Gebäudes ist genauso wie das Original, ich habe versucht die Farben der Fassade genauso hinzubekommen, und auch die Fenster, Fensterläden, Efeu etc. Es hat extrem Spass gemacht! Vorallem auch die Vorstellung, wie es wohl von Innen aussehen “könnte”? Sims 3 wird mich glaube ich mein Leben lang begleiten, es bleibt einfach immer spannend:) Hugsie ihr Lieben! //
Normally I am not a fan of shells. I also don’t download worlds that are 99% made of shells. That’s almost a fake….but…there are exceptions; and so from EA I like the little Rabbithole “The Little Corsair” Bistro so much that I tried to recreate it 1:1. The size of the whole building is exactly like the original, I tried to get the colors of the facade exactly the same, and also the windows, shutters, ivy etc.. It was extremely fun! Especially the idea of how it “could” look like from the inside? I think Sims 3 will accompany me all my life, it just always remains exciting:) Hugsie you loves!

I've decided to replace some basegame hairstyles that only clog up my CAS with hairs I actually want to use. So, these defaults don't resemble the original EA hair at all!

Beware that the braids hairstyle you see, are a V1 and V2 - they replace the same hair, so you can only have one! Non-defaults will be released so you can have both, but I want to convert them to other ages before I do so. I'll go on vacation in a few days, so it will have to wait for a bit. If you can't wait, follow this tutorial here to make them non-default yourself!
All are hat-hairs and all of them stay in the hat section.

Both versions are morphed for the thin and fat body! Morphs are hand made by me. Please, please, please let me know if you encounter any issues - it's the first time I did this and while I tested a lot, I might have missed something.
Original hair is 39k. I reduced that to 19k without decimating, but decimated it further so I could add morphs to it. I've decided to only release the lowest poly, but morphed version.
The reason V2 is lower in poly even with a hat, is because I could delete a good chunk of the top part of the hair. The difference in poly is minimal, though.
Small issues: UV mapping isn't a skill of mine, so a lot of patterns look bad on the hat. Solid colors look good, as well as some geometric ones, but a lot of patterns look terrible. Also, there is a visible seam on the back of the hat. You can see what I mean in the preview.

Unfortunately, this EA hair doesn't have actual hair in it which makes replacing it very hard as I can only work with scalp textures and accessories. There is a way to replace it with actual hair, I've already succeeded in that with another hairstyle for boys, BUT it causes texture glitches in some cases so I want to test that further before I release anything like that =)
I needed to sacrifice the male version of this hair for this one, as they referenced the same mesh. If you like toddler boys with bows on their head, you can just enable it for them of course =)
This is a tutorial how to fix hairstyles that have this glitch!
You might have seen my default replacement that battles this problem, but of course it doesn't actually fix the problem - it's just symptom relief. Well, I have good news, after some investigations I finally figured out what actually causes the pigtail glitch and how to fix it.

You might have noticed some EA hairstyles have a different naked hair set to them. For example, if your sim is wearing the base game beanie they would shower in a different hair. It doesn't work correctly, though, as sims would also age up in their 'naked' hairstyle.
This is the problem that causes the pigtail glitch. A lot of cc hairs are made in TSRW with the pigtail hair as a base (or another cc hair as a base that was cloned from the pigtails) and apparently TSRW doesn't unset the 'naked hair', so it still references the pigtails in the CASP.
S3OC is a bit better with this, but also not 100% reliable. When the naked hair is the same for the normal hairstyle, it goes well. When it's a different hair though, it also doesn't unlink it and your sim will age up with the hair referenced there.
I can imagine some of you out there don't have a clue what I'm saying right now, so I'm going to show you how:
So, I've download a hair that I know for sure had the pigtail problem, because I noticed it had the pigtails in the lower lods when making a default out of it.
Open the package file in s3pe, locate the CASP, select it and click on grid.
CasPart1Index = Naked hair
CasPart2Index = Previous age state hair
Locate CasPart1Index, under clothing category, select it and click on the drop down arrow. You can now see which resource key it references.
When I open the afHairMidPigtails package....
Surprise, surprise, it's the same resource key! This is why so many hairs age up to the pigtails.
Now, to fix this:
Back to the package file of the hair you want to fix. Right click the CASP and select Copy ResourceKey.
Select the CASP, click on Grid. Locate CasPart1Index again, but this time select the little black arrow next to the drop down menu.
Click Add
Select CASP at type
Paste the ResourceKey you've copied
Click save.
Click on CasPart1Index again, select the drop down menu and choose the CASP you just added. It should be the last one in the list. Click commit. Save the package file and voila!
Now, it might also be good practice to immediately unset the previous age-state hair.
Locate CasPart2Index, click on the dropdown menu and choose the empty resourceKey, with all the zero's.
Unless of course you have a child version of this hair you want to link to it. Then do the same steps as above, but instead op copying the resource key of the CASP in the hair you want to link it to, copy the CASP of the child hair in the other package and add it to the hair you want to link it to in the same way as above.
This 100% fixes the hair if it has the pigtail disease! Yay!

Well, almost all actually, as that helmet hair doesn't have actual hair in the mesh so I can't replace it with an actual hair... yet. Maybe I'll figure that out someday!
I used some oldy but goodie hairs for these replacements, hairs that I remembered being obsessed with when I was a younger simmer.

I have not forgotten this mod! Sorry it's taken so long, but I've finally got round to making an override package for the wildflower arrangements to use @omedapixel's lovely wildflower DR textures.
So if you have her default replacements and were bugged by the fact that the arrangements you make with them don't match, this one's for you!
You don't need Omedapixel's default replacement to have this override, but it would make the most sense to have the arrangement's flowers match the flowers you make the arrangement with...right?
Just to make it clear: this package only affects the flower arrangements that are made with my flower arranging mod. It makes the 3 wildflower arrangements match Omedapixel's wildflower DR.

In case you missed it, it also includes override files for if you're missing Uni Life or Supernatural, so the harvestable plant meshes are replaced with ones not from those packs.
I will put any smaller overrides/addons to this folder, but larger content updates will likely be posted to MTS. I do have exciting things planned :)
