This has been a theme I've seen a ton, and trust me, I get it. As someone with severe religious trauma, and as someone who escaped a religious group that was only a step or two away from being a cult, trust me when I say I understand the rage. But that random Christian online is not the same one that abused you. It's a lesson I've had to learn myself as I've been working through my own traumas, and unraveling whatever it is I want to believe in now (currently I'm agnostic, so it's not really anything at the moment, but still). But there are good people who are religious. As someone in the US, especially currently, it can be really hard to believe, but I personally know several religious people who are absolutely incredible people. So please, before you start randomly harassing someone simply for being part of a religion, stop and think for a moment to yourself, and really question if it's necessary. Is someone saying something racist, all while having a bible verse or a cross in their bio? Sure, call it out then! But are they simply existing with a cross in their bio? Not causing any harm? Or at most, disagreeing with something harmless, like which character is the best in the newest episode of whatever show? THEN LEAVE THEIR RELIGION OUT OF IT! When I used to be religious, I absolutely had people go out of their way to bully me online for no reason other than the fact that I had a cross in my bio. Granted, I'll be the first to admit I was not a good person back then, however, I rarely was called out for crappy behavior, rather, people would just see the cross and take it as an opportunity to dump their traumas out on me, as if I was the same person who hurt them, when all I was talking about in that moment was a random new book I'd read. Idk if any of that makes sense, but still, it drives me nuts when people go too far with religious hate, because two things can be true at once. Religion, especially Christianity in the US, since that's what I'm most familiar with, is absolutely one of the biggest contributors to a lot of the problems in this country. However, at the same time, innocent people who simply choose to believe in a higher power should not be caught in the middle as they are, because that random queer teen who chooses to pray every night, and believes that god would not hate queer people is absolutely not the same as some pastor actively calling for the destruction of that exact same teen. It's the people, and it's sometimes the religion, but it's never the actual belief of a god that is to blame. I will always support people being religious if you're not causing harm, especially queer religious folks, so know that my blog is always welcome to queer religious folks! 🫶
Wait, so, how exactly are any of Zoey's ships pronounced?? I realized I've never heard them spoken out loud, and only seen them written, so how exactly do you say zoemira, zoerumi, and zoeystery? Like, is zoemira or zoerumi just Zoey Mira/Zoey Rumi, or does the zoe become more like "zo?" And then any pronunciation of zoeystery I can think of sounds so clunky. Like, Zoey + stery (pronounced Mystery without the "my") sounds weird to me, and so does zo + stery, though that one is a little less clunky. I mean, I know the hangeul for at least zoeystery is 조이스터리, which would be like Zoey + stery, but idk if it's the same in English. I mean, I assume they're all supposed to be pronounced Zoey, but now I'm second guessing myself, lol. Anyway, if anyone knows the pronunciation for those, I would be appreciative, because for some reason my brain cannot figure it out, lol

for those who don’t remember, “mole interest” was an experiment I did 2 years ago because I wanted to test what causes tags to go trending on tumblr. My hypothesis was that all it takes is one (1) post blowing up in an established tag to make the entire tag trend.
I had randomly generated 2 words, which is where “mole interest” came from. I failed to consider that by generating a new tag, it wouldn’t have had enough posts already in it to prove what I now call “the mole interest effect”.
But now it does.
In 2023, we said “fuck it” a la mythbusters and ended up doing whatever it took to get #mole interest to trend. And it did. And it happened to be September 11th that day, and we managed to get #mole interest to trend ABOVE #9/11.
So, in the name of science, I ask you to reblog just this post. Let’s put the mole interest effect to the test.

Wow, I've already been on this account for a year! I think my first Tumblr was in like 2014, maybe? I don't remember now, and it's either fully abandoned or deleted by this point. But anyway, happy anniversary to this account!
