Walt chuckled when Cara expressed how adorable his child memory was, the grin remaining firmly upon his lips. The smile grew ever fonder as Cara expressed her love for how he’d married a widow with a child and still called it a privilege. “Well, you’re wonderful and amazing, Finn is a good kid and you and I are very good together, marriage made in heaven really,” Walt mused in reply, smiling fondly still at Cara. He knew she’d be thinking of her first marriage and the baggage that came with it but in truth, Walt had focused on her rather than her past ever since they’d first met.

"We truly are a good together you and I" she smiled lovingly before leaning in and pressed a loving kiss on his lips. "I love you" she said before leaning back in and finished her meal. Declan had been generous enough to take Finn with him that night. He was taking him and Colleen to the movies so her and Walt could have a night to themselves. Her brother could be an asshole sometimes, but never to her or her son.
