• She would send threats to the army until she at least heard something about you; if you were still alive, at least that would give her hope.

• If the threats didn't work, she would start mobilizing her people to retaliate until you were freed without a scratch.

• After that, she probably wouldn't let you go out without her for a long time.

Valeria was never someone interested in love, she had much more important things to do than fall in love and have "weaknesses" Because yes, for Valeria love was a weakness.

She didn't even know you when you joined the cartel, you had been recruited by one of her workers where you lived on the outskirts of Las Almas. You had looked for work there mostly out of necessity, as you had been promised food, clean clothes, lodging, equipment, weapons, etc.

You started like any other person who started in a cartel, selling on the darkest street corners, the pay was good, you earned more a month than most people who had a good job.

Until you were promoted as a hitman for the cartel along with other men and there you met the famous "Sin Nombre" who surprisingly was not a man, he was a woman.

Although Valeria didn't even look at you at first, the day the Navy tried to ambush the cartel and several of her men died, you were assigned to guard the house, that allowed you to see Valeria more often.

You started doing more work for Valeria as she began to trust you more. Diego always made sure you didn't steal the merchandise or money. That was until Valeria started to get used to your presence.

And it started to be said that you were "El Sin Nombre's" favorite. I mean, how could it be otherwise? The favoritism was noticeable.

She stopped sending you to such dangerous things as crossing borders or fighting against the Special Forces, she took better care of you and even Diego noticed this, maybe she would never admit it but she was starting to feel that weakness that she hated.

And maybe it didn't bother her that much.

A/N: This is like a one shot so I won't give it a title. Besides, I have no ideas. All of the Rat King's death scenes are... Interesting

Abby didn't want you to go, she really begged you but you were too stubborn to let her go alone and you wanted to help Yara.

She tried to convince you that she would be fine, that nothing would happen, after all... She had survived so many things, why wouldn't she survive going down to the hospital?

Well, those weren't enough excuses for you, you wouldn't let your girlfriend go alone, besides, you had done everything together since you met, you just wanted to help her.

Of course, Abby reluctantly agreed. So you prepared to go with her. Gas masks, rifles, ammo, and anything else you needed.

The plan was simple, go down, get the medicines and leave, so easy, there weren't supposed to be any infected, after all that place had been closed for years, it was ground zero, No infected person would survive without food or anything the infected needed to survive.

The deeper you and Abby went into the hospital, the more horrible things you found, corpses of FEDRA, Infected people glued to the walls and others tied to stretchers, doctors' notes from the day of infection.

At least everything was empty. Was it?

Abby did an agreement with you, not to separate for anything, of course... In a moment that was going to happen. Abby asked you to look for medicines in the trauma room while she looked in the ambulance.

Abby opened a drawer just as she heard your scream. That high-pitched scream of terror that horrified her so much. She quickly left the room with the shotgun in her hand to see what was happening.

It was... Indescribable, a mass of infected bodies, and fungus together, it was awful, it was horrible.

Abby pulled out her shotgun as you ran toward her; that thing was huge. Abby started firing, but it seemed like every bullet only made him angrier.

Abby quickly took your hand pulled you as she ran, you followed her as best you could trying not to cry. You you took out your rifle trying to shoot but all you could hear were the screams of the infected.

The hospital lights flashed red as you tried to keep up with Abby, you arrived at a door blocked with an axe, Abby took the axe trying to open it but soon the infected took Abby by the neck. You watched in horror as Abby tried to get out of that thing's grip, even though it seemed impossible.

You raised the gun towards him and began to fire. The infected turned to you, dropping Abby, who was lying weak on the ground, The infected only needed a second before starting to follow you. You ran trying to avoid it while Abby stood up watching in horror as that thing went after you.

Shotgun without bullets, but she started running after you, you turned a corner trying to open the door that unfortunately was closed. You forced the door trying to get in but the infected managed to reach you.

Abby, behind you, tried to distract him while he grabbed your shirt collar before throwing you hard onto the ground. You felt something break in your back, the air left your lungs. Abby managed to reload the shotgun, But it was too late, the infected hit you several times in the ribs until blood began to come out of your mouth.

Abby screamed in desperation already shooting at him even though she knew it was late.The infected turned to follow her again. Abby, with tears in her eyes, began to run toward the exit, trying to avoid the infected.

Found a flamethrower lying on the ground and used it against him. After several attempts, the infected fell dead on the ground. Abby panting and with tears in her eyes walked over to where you were.

She had no words. Just looked at you for a moment before, with effort, carrying you.

First her father, then you... What had she done wrong? This was probably some punishment the universe was giving her for killing Joel. Now she would live with that for the rest of her life.

She made sure to bury you next to her father, with some flowers and a love letter that she never gave to you, although now she regretted not having done so.

Australian Grand Prix, you'd been preparing thoroughly for this season. You were going to improve, you had to improve, the constructors' race had been a disaster, and Red Bull wasn't happy at all that you didn't even finish in the top 10.

A new season meant new drivers, people whose greatest achievement was racing in F2, cars that didn't have half the power of an F1.

You'd prepared for this. You'd finished 4th in qualifying, ahead of you were Max, Charles, and Lando. You needed to win. The stands were already filling up as you went down to the pits to check something with your technicians.

"Williams," you said as you approached the young woman. Ellie raised her head to look at you. Her eyes looked at you excitedly before she tried to control herself. "Hey."

You smiled at her standing in front of her "I hope you're ready, this time I have a feeling I'll be on the podium" Ellie smiled "I'm always ready, I don't know if the technicians told you about some changes we made to your car"

"Yeah.. something about the chassis and the rear wing, right?"

"Yeah, uh, did they explain how to use it?" Ellie asked. Before you could answer, one of the workers spoke to you. It was time for you to get in the car.

You waved goodbye to Ellie. "Wish me luck," you said with a smile as you ran over to the pit lane. You put on the balaclava and the HANS that came with the helmet. Ellie looked at you as you removed the steering wheel to enter the cockpit. She'd been in love with you since you started racing with Red Bull. Maybe after the race she would tell you how much she loved you and that she wanted to spend her whole life by your side.

The race started as usual, it was raining quite a bit so everyone was wearing rain tires, and although you knew that these had less grip because of the puddles of water, your tires felt different. Formation lap, had barely started when the Safety Car came out. "What the fuck" you muttered as you positioned yourself behind Max.

"Hadjar just crashed in Turn 2," your technician said over the radio. You tried to check your rearview mirror, but nothing serious was visible. Poor boy, it was his first race in F1.

After a while the race could finally start. The 5 red lights turned green and the engines began to roar. The first 12 laps were easy but there was one driver who was putting too much pressure on you: Doohan, another new guy who was trying to get into the corners to overtake you.

You would soon have to enter the pits, the tires were wearing MUCH FASTER than usual, they didn't have good grip and you were starting to think that they had already given you used ones.

Round 14, it was almost time to pit. Doohan kept putting on the pressure. You attempted a defense just as the car of Alpine accelerated trying to overtake. A crash. A very big one.

The Alpine car's flaps hit your rear tire causing your car to spin out of control. Driving over a rain puddle, the tires slipped and the car went off the road, The wheels couldn't hold up well against the small rocks used as a road barrier for motorcyclists, causing the car to flip violently.

The Halo narrowly missing you as the metal itself squealed before the car finally came to a stop against the barriers. The yellow flag was immediately raised causing the other cars to reduce their speed. Ellie watched it all from the pits, her heart nearly bursting out of her chest as they watched the replay on the screen.

"_____ can you hear us?"

"_____ please confirm your status."

The radio sounded distant, almost like an echo. You tried to press the talk button, but just as you took the wheel, everything went black.

The FIA medical car quickly approached. Three people got out with a stretcher. They pulled you unconscious from the vehicle trying not to hurt you.

Ellie ran toward you, trying to avoid the medics who were blocking her way. She fell to her knees beside you before starting to cry, resting her forehead against your chest. You looked fucked up. "Please... Please wake up" she whispered between sobs, gripping your uniform tightly. Her knuckles were white from squeezing so hard.

She gently shook your shoulders trying to get some reaction out of you. She was terrified, terrified that the same thing that happened to Jules, or Ayrton, would happen to you. The medics held her arms as Ellie screamed and kicked. She wanted to go with you. Soon the ambulance arrived.

You woke up in a white room and the smell of disinfectant. You tried to move, but your head hurt too much. Soon you noticed the needle wedged in your wrist and the constant beeping of the machine next to you.

The door opened revealing the same pit girl. Ellie's face lit up when she saw you awake. She dropped the cookies she was holding and ran over to you. "My God, you woke up" she said with suppressed emotion as he held your hands.

You looked at her slightly "What happened?" You said with a raspy voice from the lack of water. "You crashed into Doohan in the race, you were knocked unconscious, I didn't know if you were going to wake up, I didn't know what would happen if-" You interrupted Ellie by lightly squeezing her hands.

"Ellie... I'm fine," you said with a tired smile. "Fuck," Ellie muttered. "You had a concussion, the doctors said there was a chance you'd lose your memory and I was so scared you'd forget me, because I really love you and I- I-" Ellie started to cry.

"I just want to tell you that I love you so much and I want to be more than a friend to you, I want to spend the rest of my life by your side and if you don't want that's okay, I'll understand, just..." You stood up with difficulty before kissing Ellie softly on the lips. A kiss Ellie really wanted. You didn't even give her time to react before pulling away.

"I love you too" You said with a smile. Ellie was shocked for a moment before smiling widely. "And of course, I'd love to be your girlfriend," you added before Ellie kissed you again, this time more passionately. You responded to the kiss quickly before pulling away.

"I love you, so much..." Ellie said. You smiled against her lips. "Me too."
