A House on a Hill

Inside, a small crowd has already gathered, if the low hum of conversation is any indication. The house is quite large; it looks like it’ll be easy to get lost.

Away from the chatter, there’s faintest sound of music. Following it leads to a side room, dimly lit and substantially more empty than the rest of the house; in fact, there’s only one person there.

He shifts between tunes, playing anything that comes to mind; it’s hypnotizing to listen to and the minutes pass in the form of stray melodies.

He seems to have noticed he has an audience.
