Made two illustrations (of my OC Kiyoko) for inking and coloring practice with some new Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolors. I added screentones digitally for the one in the middle.

Gretel is done at last! I got inspired by Marlowe Lune’s art and tried to use more of the Gouache and Blotchy pen brushes for this redesign. The image below is Gretel’s previous design in 2024.

Attempted to animate Mahi based off of Lain’s dance in the BOOTLEG game.

Decided to try doing a panel redraw from Bahare Jaberi’s The Secret of the Hanging Dolls with the G pen brush last night (inspired by Sakamoto Shinichi’s art), and decided to color it in to make it look like an old film still!

Next up is Mary! My favorite has to be how I rendered the sleeve! I also tried to simplify the eyes a bit more to push more of the “antique children’s book” style.
