Badou has finished plenty of jobs he’s been reluctant to do, too lazy to do, and downright hated. But finding himself in this parallel but not really world? Is actually the Worst. He’s dragging his feet, like they’re practically cement, to have to find this guy. Who is him.
There’s a slightly…vaguely familiar– oh, no, that’s Rika isn’t it. He recalls the night the faeries were playing tricks and he had to deal with a drinking….kid.
And here she is.
“Oh….Rika, isn’t it?” The giant fox would also identify her, obviously. At least that’s a friendly face….he hopes.
It takes Rika a few seconds for her to realize that she must look quite different to the redhead man. As far as she knew, he had no clue how she would look once settled into adulthood. “Yeah, good to know that we still know each other in alternate worlds or else this would’ve been more awkward than necessary.” She says and glances around for the version of him that she’s familiar with. “You haven’t found yourself from here yet? Or is it just a thing that we weren’t informed that our other selves are all just gonna constantly run away from us like a plague? Out here is more dangerous than what you’re used to in your city, you know.”
