if you blow out candle you BLOW AWAY the MAGIC and ur spell goes pllphfphphphhhhhhbbb into the wind and WON'T WORK
So I went to a cemetery today. It was really nice, I love walking around cemeteries. But when I got to the back I started to feel.. uncomfortable? I got a migraine. I didnāt feel right so I walked back towards the front of the cemetery and when I left that section itās like my migraine instantly vanished.
When visiting a cemetery, it is considered polite witchcraft to ask permission and make an offering to the gatekeeper of the cemetery. The gatekeeper is considered to be the first person laid to rest in the cemetery, so youād look for the oldest grave. But if thatās not possible, you can also look for the tallest monument. Iāve been told itās traditional to knock three times and leave an offering of three silver coins (or dimes). Though I have left other offerings over the years and felt welcome in the cemetery.
For some cemeteries itās acceptable to greet them instead. A bow and a brief acknowledgement of the passing of those around you may suffice, as some places donāt have gatekeepers. Still, if having the moment to do so, meander until you find yourself at a particular grave. Thatās the one you should thank and pay homage to.

LILITH āø
i. BASICS
Polarity:Ā Yin and Yang Element: Water and Fire
Rulership: debatable. Scorpio is generally associated with Lilith. I personally believe that she is ruled by Scorpio & exalted in Sagittarius.
ā What is Lilith?
There are four LilithsĀ (or technically three ā one with two calculation methods) but Black Moon Lilith is what I will be referring to in this post; this is theĀ āprimaryā orĀ āmost importantā Lilith, which is most closely associated with the myth and traditional archetype. The other Liliths have separate connotations & require different interpretations.
Black Moon Lilith is essentially (equal to) the lunar apogee. In other words, the Black Moon is the point in the moonās orbit when it is farthest from the earth. There are two ways to calculate it āĀ āTrueā Lilith refers to the accurate calculation, andĀ āMeanā Lilith refers to the average (smoothed) calculation. True Lilith is used most commonly, as many astrologers believe accounting for the wildly oscillating orbit of the lunar apogee reflects the uncontrolled nature of the archetype & energy of Lilith itself.
ii. ARCHETYPES
The Rejected Eve. The Dark Mother or anti-mother, theĀ āShadowedā (corrupt) Madonna. The Harlot, the Provocateur, the (sexual) Pariah, the Unwoman, the Woman King. The Vampiress, the Demon-Goddess or Demon Queen, the Mother of Monsters. The Witch, the Enchantress, the Mistress or Temptress.
Lilith is not aboutĀ āevil,ā Lilith is about deviance.
She represents exactly what we are not supposed or allowed to be, particularly if one is punished or rejected for being it. She is the āJoan of Arcā of social and sexual roles ā for everyone, but especially women. She is the untamed subversion of female limitations, and the mother of feminine rebellion.
Above all, Lilith is a symbol of self-ownership and self-creation, regardless of stigma, standards, & rules. Shamelessness and defiance define her.
iii. ORIGIN
The figure of the āDark Motherā or āDemon-Goddessā is one of the oldest archetypes; there have been many different impressions of her throughout history ā all incredibly rich in detail, diversity, and significance. Many astrologers subscribe to the Biblical mythology of Lilith, which affirms that she was the first woman created by God. She was produced the same way Adam was (from dirt or clay), but she refused to submit to him as God had intended. As a result of that, she was exiled from the Garden of Eden, and God replaced her with a new woman (Eve, this time created from Adamās rib). Her eternity would be spent wandering the earth. In some versions, she fled Eden of her own volition, and God sent angels to retrieve her but she refused to submit to them as well. She then ābecame a demon who murdered infants and gave birth to monsters.ā
The majority of the mythās manifestations are highly negative in that way. She is almost always depicted as a demon or a witch, with destructive connotations where marriage, sex, and children are concerned; some romanticize the idea of her, some are deeply afraid of it, but the foundation of Lilith remains relatively consistent: she denies or is denied something, and this changes her radically. More importantly, it changes othersā perception of who she is. Whether she found freedom or corruption in her decision is not the point ā what matters is the fact that her choice is the crux of all that she is defined to be.
iv. MEANING
Lilithās energy is raw, self-motivated, willful, subversive, tempestuous, and wild. Impulse and tact are unified under a singular all-important goal: liberation. Nothing matters more to Lilith than personal freedom.
ā She is associated with:
Seduction, lust, sexual hedonism, temptation. Sexuality, especially female sexuality. Non-traditional sexual acts or orientations, subversive sexual roles, fetishes, controversial orĀ ādeviantā behaviors, taboo sex acts, dark fantasies & urges, hidden sexual needs, unhealthy desires, harmful desires, or desires that are deemed unnatural.
Hidden needs in general, unnatural or uncommon psychological characteristics, emotional complexes, mental wounds, unhealthy expression of emotions (or emotional repression). Separation from the original self; trying to remove or defy or transform a part of oneself, changing parts of the self that were inborn or built in childhood, disowning personal structures. Defying or radically changing oneās nature, or radically accepting oneās nature.
Female power, female self-knowledge, female rebellion. Crimes & wrongdoings against women; crimes & wrongdoings committed by women. Oppression of women; structural or personal harm of women & girls.
Dark or toxic motherhood. Unhealthy mother-child relationships. Abusive mothers. Abuse in general, either physical or emotional, especially which targets the autonomy of a person. Manipulation and deceit.
Individuality, self-expression, and unapologetic assertion of identity, especially in the face of oppression, alienation, and slander or disgrace as a result of it. Self-ownership, independence, and free thought. Aspects of a person which are rejected and outcast by society; the components of what makes a person unique but also that make it difficult to integrate; whatever prevents others from accepting someone as part of a community. The isolation that comes from being āirreconcilablyā different.
The more broad societal themes of rebellion (especially those which veer into political rather than personal territories) are not very close to Lilithās core energy, but they do loosely relate to what she represents, particularly when it comes to womenās rights. Some of the most negative associations are less about what Lilith creates, and more about what Lilith has the power, resilience, & strength to endure. Lilith can have harmful manifestations, however.
In the natal chart, the primary themes are alienation/rejection, individual freedom, and sexuality. She is the part of us that is demonized for being different or for not conforming to what is demanded & expected. She is the part of us that questions our priorities when we are faced with two options: stifling integration or lonely individuality. She is the part of us that chooses singularity over acceptance, and which would rather make her own way alone than sacrifice autonomy for the safety found in adhering to repressive social structures.
Okay so like I just wanna say that even if your witchcraft isnāt all ~aesthetic~ and perfect lighting that only exists in movies, itās just as legit, if not more. Yeah, itās nice to stage photos and stuff to show off but honestly I donāt think that everyday witchcraft is that flawless all the time.
Hand Tapping Sigils
This is a sigil method that I have made, and Iād like to call them hand tapping sigils. Hand tapping sigils are sigils that are made from statements of intent, and are acted out through the tapping of certain spots on your fingertips. Certain spots of a finger will correlate to different letters allowing the practitioner to tap out their intention, so that they can send it out into the universe, while also reaffirming their intention in their subconscious. This sigil method is charged through your own energy, and focus, and will be activated and sent out by the act of you doing it. These sigils are versatile, and can be used anywhere without tools, or attracting attention.
1) First, like usual sigils you need to make a statement of intent. I will be using this one as an example.
āI Am Protectedā
2) Next youāre going to want to shorten that statement of intent a lot. Ā hand tapping sigils can get quite complicated, quite fast. So in order to keep it on the simple side we need to only used the letters that really speak to your intention. It is primarily going to be the first letters of every word, or any other letters that you deem usable. It is really up to you what you want to use, but it should end up to be a small amount of letters, so that you can actually perform the hand tapping sigils. Feel free to put the letters in any pattern that you would like in order to make the sigil more personal and unique to you. This is what I ended up with for this statement of intent:
āA I Pā
3) Ā Now that we have our letters we are going to tap them out on our fingers. In order to do this youāre going to need to use the chart below, so that you know the correct position to tap for each letter correspondence. Now you are going to want to put your hands palms facing each other, and in order to tap the letter you are going to push it with your opposite hand, much like youāre using your fingers as a keyboard on the correct position that corresponds to the letter that you want. This would be like if you wanted to tap the letter āRā you would take one of the fingers of your left hand, and touch it to the middle finger middle position, or āRā spot in order to tap it. You would do this with every letter left from your statement of intent, so that you can cast your sigil. The letter that is tapped will be the letter receiving the pushing force. This is so letters that are on the same position on the opposite hand are not mistaked for the tapping of one another, especially after a quick succession. This could be used in order to discern things like a āBā tap from an āIā tap. You would most likely not only tap the sigil out once, but do it multiple times much like if you were chanting silently with your hands. thatās all there really is to hand tapping sigils, and they are simple, but effective tools that can be brought into your working, and could be quite useful from time to time.
one word spells
As long as you can focus your energy and set your intention your spell should work, so Iāve designed these 5 spells using just one word for a Witch who needs a quick fix.
Mariquil
Pronounced mar-e-quil
Used to calm a temper or an upset person. From the latin word for sea, mare, and the english word tranquil. Essentially you are calling the sea inside them to be still.Ā For better results cast with wet hands.
Univert
Pronounced Uni-var
Used for faster transport. I use it at the train station to have a shorter wait time but really its designed for traffic lights. By combining uni from universe and vert, the french word for green, youāre essentially asking the universe to make your path green.
Visididen
Pronounced Vis-e-did-en
Used to go unnoticed or invisible. Taken from the english words vision and hidden. For best results chant it softly while visualising yourself turning transparent.
Lapagna
Pronounced Lap-ag-na
Used when you just need someone to shut the f**k up but are too polite to say so. Taken from the Latin words lapis and magna, meaning stone and voice. For best results hold a stone or some earth while casting, if theyāre really pissing you off just throw the stone or dirt at them.
Bavarignis
pronounced Bav-are-ig-ni
Used to strike up a conversation or to continue a conversation. Taken from the French word bavarder, which means chat, and the Latin word ignis, which means fire. Basically youāre asking for the conversation to spark or catch fire. For best results flick a lighter in your pocket or light a match.
I AM SO HERE FOR MAGIC WORDS.
God Iām so in love with magic words Iām going to start creating some right now.
For warding the home:
Murusidium
Pronounced : MOO roos id ee um
Combines Latin words for wall and protection, asking for the walls of your home to offer a spiritual protection. Works best with your hands on the wall you want to enchant
For success at work/promotion:
Victeloffici
Pronounced Vic-tel-o-FI-see
Combines the Latin words for success, arrow, and job. Asking for movement like an arrow in the career, added success to ensure that it is successful movement.
For getting a job:
Obtanoficcium
Pronounced: ob-tan-o-FI-see-um
English word obtain with Latin word for job. Best murmured at an interview or while submitting an application.
To get smooth the mind:
Chamomenta
Pronounced CA-mo-men-ta
Chamomile- a notoriously soothing tea and menta-meaning mind. Best murmured into a cup of well chamomile tea.
For a burst of confidence: Confidissi
From the Latin for bursting forth and the English confident. Best spoken with a clenched fist.
For good luck: Ćdhuerte
Pronounced ahh-d-where-tay
From the Irish for luck and the Spanish for strong/luck (fuerte/suerte)
Found this online.

Witch Tip
Lockets!
Lockets are perfect for talismans or anything really. You can store herbs, or small things inside them to carry the magick you need around with you for however long you feel like it. When you no longer need it or want a change, you just take out what you put in the locket and put something else and maybe use what you carried around for a spell.
no oneās a perfect witch š
š spells wont always work, and thatās okay. one failed spell, or even ten doesnt mean your power has left you completely, it just means you need to re-center yourself and rediscover it.
š how often you do something witchy does not make you more or less of a witch. taking time for you is okay. missing full moons for spells or pagan holidays is fine, they are not mandatory
š there will always be more to learn, donāt feel pressured to learn it all, especially if itās not something youāre interested in. go at your own pace.

If you had any little tiny bits of advice for beginner Witches, could.. I possibly know some? Newbie here. Thank you so much if so. If you can't, thats okay too!! Thank you anyway.
Yeah, Iāll give you some tips I wish I knew.
Study with an open mind. Donāt take everything on Tumblr as fact - read different resources and counter arguments.
You donāt need a label. You donāt need to beĀ ātypeā of witch or of a certain religion. Just be yourself. Be a witch.
Pursue what interests you. There is so much information out there that even experienced witchesĀ donāt know, so feel free to focus whatever attracts you.
If you want a good starting point, I recommend with studying terminology. Casting circles, astral projection, spirit companions, wards, sigilsāall these terms are thrown around with the assumption that everyone knows what they mean. Once you know, you can research much more easily.
Invest in a good beginner book, or find a free PDF online.
I highly recommend researching the history of witchcraft, and Wicca if youāre interested. Itās amazing how many people practice a certain craft or tradition without knowing where it comes from. Learning the history puts a whole new perspective on your practice.
Fuck what people say. Practice what makes you a happier, better person.
If youāre looking into religion, know that you donāt have to agree completely with every doctrine to join. Not every Wiccan follows the rede, and not every Hellenic devotes time to miasma. Thereās room to carve out your own path. Also, you donāt have to be religious to be a witch!
Be patient. Learn things slowly. Take breaks if you need to. Save up for a tool you really want. You donāt need to be an expert right away.
Read some works outside the box, and you might find something you didnāt discover before.
Thatās all. Good luck!Ā į¦ćā”ā¹)ćā”
