With a faint brush of her lips to his jaw, she drags him close, "Must you really go?" Her words are hushed, the smallest hint of desperation in the mix, though she hides it behind a dramatic sigh. "Every second away from you is torture, my love." Amir draws back, raising an eyebrow as he takes her hand. When he steps backward, she follows. He laughs, and it's the sweetest sound she's ever heard. And when a smile curves at the corner of his lips, she hopes, for a moment, that perhaps he's changed his mind. Though she knew it was too good to be true. "I will be back soon, my heart," He pairs his words with a press of his lips to hers, reveling in the way the act sinks her further into his embrace, "You won't even miss me. You will sleep while I am away, and you will wake to my arrival. I promise you."

@thedivinehellspawn was curious about changeling RaspBarry and it kind of helped figure out where I wanna put her in the timeline.

Imagining this is after Amir and Barry recently start working at Rarity's boutique. Maybe he's cleaning up for the day, about to close the shop up and Amir, and anypony else for that matter, aren't around. Barry, now having a background in cosmetics and having worked in Los Pegasus for a while gets curious. He's always been around beautiful fashion, especially when he met Amir. And now, he's been helping sell such garments, but he's always wondered what it would be like to wear them.

They're so pretty, and no one is around so why not let his disguise slip for a bit. After all keeping up with it for so long gets tiring.

There are a bunch of gowns and ribbons and wigs and jewelry. Of course he would never dream of taking any of them, but he is so very curious, simply trying them on couldn't hurt?

And thus the first iteration of RaspBarry spawns :D

Maybe he comes back in the morning and actually buys one of the outfits.

And yes he is hiding his true self and some might say he just added another layer to that, but this is a disguise he doesn't HAVE to hide behind. He isn't scared of people knowing about RaspBarry, in fact he revels in being able to dress up and change without having to actually CHANGE. She's almost freeing in a way, not having to worry about people seeing behind the facade, cause what's underneath RaspBarry isn't scary. Its just Barry :3

So this would definitely be after the ponyville move and before amir, jean loo, or johnny know about Barry's true form.

ANYWAY I hope y'all enjoy this little lore drop that even I didn't know about until yesterday LOL
