I need Riddle to realize how much his dorm absolutely adores him. This boy genuinely thinks his dorm hates him and only fears him.
It may have been somewhat true in the start, but the second Ace and Deuce learned about his mom, they literally stopped avoiding him.
Ace mentions Riddle randomly, compares things to him, has a dream where Riddle is hanging out with him and is HAPPY AND RELAXED. Ace's main goal with Riddle is to try and calm him down, not even just because he hates the rules but because he knows that Riddle is overdoing it and overworking himself everyday.
Deuce ALSO mentions Riddle, follows him around like a solider, and makes it a goal to protect and defend him like he is their actual queen. He worries for Riddle and, like Sebek, feels an entitlement to fend for him at times. Deuce even admires him and tries to impress him.
Cater worries for Riddle like an older brother, tries to include him in things, and is so supportive in his recovery. Cater openly worries about Riddle, and expresses that he wouldnt want to see him hurt. Based off headcannons and implied things from the game, he also respects Riddle enough as housewarden to actually tell him things that happen when he's not there. He tried to help Riddle understand things he didn't before.
Trey has adored Riddle since they met, ached to protect him, and refuses to hate him no matter how strict he got. It definitely helped to realize that he needed to talk to Riddle, but even before he still adored him. Trey never once hated or resented Riddle in anyway before.
Riddle just doesn't see any of this, assumes it's all just because he's their housewarden and has the ability to collar them. I think we really don't talk about how insecure this guy actually is. Even his dream didn't do anything to demonize them, he was actively aching to have friends like them the whole time.
He even thinks the others in his dorm despise him when I really doubt that. I don't doubt that there are some people who don't like Riddle, but there's definitely more that love him than not. They treat him like a queen, clap for him (even if that's not required), and do enjoy being in Heartslabyul.
In short, I love him and he has so many people who love him and he's just convinced they all actually hate him or smth.
