Giving Kimizuki a bit of time to relax quietly, Yoichi blew on his cocoa in-between sips, careful not to burn himself. When asked if he’d just arrived in their shared apartment that morning, he nodded and placed his mug on the table.
“Yep! Before you came home I unpacked my things, though I’m not finished arranging everything yet.” Yoichi made a mental note to ask Kimizuki later about where to hang the photos they’d taken with the old film camera they’d found some months back.
“Oh, do you want to see the welcome gifts the city gave me?” He got up and jogged to his room where faint rummaging could be heard until he emerged back into the living room carrying a sun sticker, a plastic bow and arrow set, and, most prominently, a t-shirt with the words “Kimizuki Apologist” printed in big, bold letters.
“What do you think of the shirt, Kimizuki-kun? Isn’t it funny?” A wide smile spread across Yoichi’s face, eager for his friend’s likely-to-be-amusing reaction.
▲ “If you need help moving things around, just ask me.” The taller one stood up from the couch and walked into their small kitchen. Seeing as it was near afternoon, he might as well cook lunch for the two of them.
“I’ll cook lunch right now. You can show me while I do that.” He watched the other run off to his room and started focusing on his work.
Preparing his cooking utensils (which he was glad he was smart enough to unpack first), the pink-haired male tied an apron on and picked out a few ingredients. Hearing the the younger male return with the aforementioned items, he turned to look at the welcome gifts Yoichi had received.
...Only to sputter out in surprise and shock.
“What the hell is that shirt, Yoichi?!”
