my favorite trope is when someone believes they’re hard to love and someone who loves them like it’s breathing.
i want a girlfriend & a book deal & a phd & ten thousand friends who love and understand me. i don’t think this is too much to ask for
Perfectly matching and replicating colors just by seeing them is an art, and, while it's also a very useful task, people who can do this are primarily artists.

Wow.
Yeah but no but yeah -- Look he didn't just colour match it, he also added in the turbulence medium, the clearcoat and the correct metallic flecks... for a paint that will dry a lighter shade than when it goes on.
That's like being served an entire thanksgiving meal made my one person in 45 minutes and then saying "Oh they made me a snack": It is radically underselling what this person can do.

“What the fuck is this?” Sirius asked loudly, storming into the kitchen, half-amused, half-furious expression on his face.
Remus, obviously, focused on this, and not the fact that his husband was wearing nothing but a towel, his still-wet hair dripping water slowly down his tattooed chest.
He cleared his throat and told himself to focus. “Erm, what?” he asked, moving his eyes upward to Sirius’s face.
“This, Moony! My hair!” Sirius screeched, rolling his eyes at Remus’s distracted gaze.
Remus looked towards Sirius’s hair and gasped. Now that he looked closer, it was clear that there was something sticky worked throughout the long locks, making them tangled and matted.
“I don’t-” he began, trying to hold back a laugh.
“Oh, don’t lie,” Sirius interrupted, throwing his hands up. “We all know you’re more than able to brew a Sticky Sap Potion with one hand behind your back. Are you that upset that I ate your last chocolate bar? I thought we all signed a treaty back in third year about leaving my hair out of all pranks? This is a betrayal, Moony!”
But before Remus could begin to defend himself, the sound of someone clearing their throat caused them both to look toward the door.
“What makes you think it was Uncle Remus, Pads?” Harry asked from the doorway, a giant smirk on his face as he leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed.
Both men gaped at the eleven-year-old.
“It was….?” Sirius asked in a hushed voice, blinking rapidly.
“That’s what you get for trying to blame me for eating Remus’s chocolate!” Harry grinned, green eyes sparkling.
Sirius and Remus looked at each other, beaming.
“Oh, Merlin!” Sirius breathed, tears welling in his eyes. “His first prank!”
“Harry, your father would be so proud!” Remus laughed, moving to hug his godson.
“We’re definitely celebrating after I get this awful stuff out of my hair,” Sirius agreed, all anger forgotten. “Now, where’s the antidote?”
The room went quiet.
“Erm…antidote?” Harry asked sheepishly.
i love you intimacy in reverse order. yes we've had sex before and i know all the details of your pleasure, but i don't know anything else. i don't know what it feels like to embrace you carelessly. i can barely hold your hand, the grip is so slight it makes me lose my breath. i want to kiss you but what pressure is the right one? how much is too intimate? yes we've had sex and i've done all these things before - but without the guise of mutual pleasure, can i be sure you won't turn me away? will you allow me the delicate feeling of your hand in mine when you know it is me asking to hold it? i know i've held you before with our clothes off, but can i hold you even tighter? may i listen to the steady sound of your heartbeat? is it alright to look for it in front of everyone? yes, yes of course we've had sex before. i know what you look like naked, ive touched you with the lights off. is it alright to want see you with them on? in the morning, with the sun flitting through the blinds?is it alright to want you when the sun is up? yes we've had sex before but have we ever been intimate? can we be? tell me that it's alright to hold you. no, not like that. just like this.
"you don't like mpreg?" i don't even like fpreg
now say it with me: authors/artists dont owe you moral purity. an author/artist job is not to hold you by the hand & tell you exactly what is Good™ & what is Bad™. you should be able to think for yourself
"yes but depictions of (morally questionable thing) are only okay if its punished in the story" thats the hays code. you just reinvented the hays code
"Came back wrong" trope but actually the character came back right. A character who, when they were living, hid and changed so many parts of themself around others to appease them and, when they died and came back, they stopped doing so and started living as who they always have been. But everyone thinks they came back wrong because of how different they are
sirius was walburga & orion's favourite despite his rebellions and regulus wasn't paid as much attention despite his constant obedience - and they both hated this
