time moved differently when the streets are empty, and the city is so silent you feel like the only person in the world. sheโs walking home alone, mildly tipsy, but has half a mind to keep to well-lit areas. bar hopping with acquaintances for most of the night was fun, but they groaned about having work the next morning, and being too drunk to take another sip. but now she was alone, and oh how she hated being alone. no one should be, not when the stars were as beautiful as they were now, not when the world spun in a different direction, now when a breath of energy filled her lungs. she had one person she wanted to share it all with, and she promptly ignored her floor and kept going till she reached his.ย

โHey, donโt tell me what to do with my pizza,โ he teased, smirking playfully at her.ย โYou bugging me? Thatโs unheard of,โ he scoffed, walking into the apartment and letting her follow inside. He stretched looking at her.ย โMm, yeah I was asleep, but Iโm fine now. I want to spend time with you. Thatโs worth it to me.โย He could sense that something as bugging her, maybe she was lonely. Either way, Sol wanted to do whatever it was that he could to help the other. She meant the world to him, his best friend and the person he relied on the most in this world.ย
He stood up from the sofa going to get them both something to drink. He grabbed the rootbeer from the fridge as well as the ice cream. Making them both a rootbeer float.ย โTa da,โ he held the glass out to her and took a seat next to her again.ย โI lived off these and chilli fries on tour. It was so unhealthy but super delicious. Now I want chilli fries,โ he sighed. He took a sip of his drink and wrapped an arm around her shoulder gently squeezing it.ย โSo, whatโs new with you?โ
