Can we talk about how worried Zoro was about Nami's health? DO WE WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT?

Zoro is a stoic character who tries not to show his vulnerable side — I love how this contrasts with Sanji. He tries to hide his concern, but he can't help drinking while Luffy and Sanji climb, complaining that he should be with them instead of the cook, and his anxiety is so obvious that it makes Usopp nervous. After Usopp scolds him, Zoro decides to keep himself busy so he doesn't think about Nami. And no, you can't tell me that I'm misinterpreting things because Zoro's concern was directed at Nami.

The fact that, after the battle against Wapol's guards, the first thing he asks when he arrives at the castle with Usopp and Kureha is "Where's Nami?" confirms it.

And, in keeping with Zoro's personality, the way he asks that question is perfect! He doesn't ask what happened to Nami or how she is, he asks where she is, because that's the safest way to avoid showing vulnerability in the face of the possibility that she might be dead.

I love how, immediately afterwards, he pretends nothing happened and looks away. ZORO, I KNOW YOU.

You all have no idea how many fanfictions and fan comics are swirling around in my head after that moment! 💞

Now we have much more new material I need to update the list.

Someone need to let opla Zoro know that it's possible to sit somewhere else than besides Nami.

In Baratie, he went from going to sit next to Luffy to sitting next to Nami:

Emily and Mackenyu admitting that they act like the parents of the group reminds me of Early arcs Nami & Zoro who also acted like that towards their nakama ( before the older members of the crew joined).

Also, Mackenyu saying that Emily gives him " the eyes" and tells him to take care of something, that's once again so Zoro and Nami coded. Because Zoro also has to lock in when Nami is giving him " the eyes".

Finally, I could see Zoro & Nami making theses poses while describing how they communicate with each other without needing to talk:

The face Zoro makes when Nami comments on his muscles:

That's the surprised but pleased face of a man. It's like he's thinking " so you did noticed my muscles!!".

And it's a nice parallel to the scene Zoro & Nami met on season 1 where the first thing he tells her is this:

EP. 3: Zoro & Nami being the responsible adults.

I love that they kept the manga vibe of Nami and Zoro being the only two cautious once they entered this suspiciously friendly town.

Also, they were the only ones who didn't fall for the traps the citizens had planned for them and the first to figure out that the place was dangerous:

The only two straw hats with working braincells on the episode.

And once they met they do act like the parents of the crew. They even talk about which kid(s) each of them will go and get:
