#late nite ramble #for the past few months i’ve been working on a VERY AMBITIOUS krsh fic #it’s way longer and has a different flavor than my previous fics #very excited for it to be done but it’s taking a while to set up since i need to pay attention to small details #but BECAUSE that fic is gonna be so different i want to write a krsh fic in my normal style as well #bc i rlly like when they’re just soft and sweet n shit like that #AND THEN I’m also trying to write a oneshot for sandbag jcc #bc the community neeeeeeds to know how i interpret his character ITS SO SERIOUS TO ME #so yeah #i have a friend who’s been waiting for me to finish my big krsh fic and I feel like shit cuz I haven’t worked on it at all in a week #so i feel inclined to work on it #i just get so mushy whenever I think abt them that it makes it hard to stick to the plot ahahaha

thinking abt how i used to switch fandoms like once a month but now it’s abt once a year. it’s genuinely so fascinating how attached to things i can become. even if i’m not in a fandom anymore i always still hold it very close to my heart.

all the new enstars announcements have made me a little insane today BUT THIS ONE IN PARTICULAR… i’m so excited. not even because the song sounds extraordinary or anything IT’S BECAUSE OF THE NAME.

this could be a totalllll stretch but given that their showdown is taking place in france, i’m pretty sure the title of the song is a reference to Albert Camus’s The Stranger. in that story, the main character, Meursault (who is “the stranger” the title refers to) shoots a man, with the only reason he stated for having done it was that the sun was in his eyes. i have NO IDEA what significance that would have to this song or story but liiiiiike…. it’s there lmao.

this may actually be the weirdest thing to freak out over but that is my favorite book of all time so seeing a reference to it, even if it’s unintentional, in fucking enstars of all things is enough to get me to start geeking out. god bless shu itsuki if this title was intentional it was 1000% his idea.
