A color test for Klyre, an Eighvorian tertiary elemental Cal befriends in the Starmouth and ends up dating longterm. He's related to Lyudmila, though they are estranged. His element is a major spoiler and won't be revealed for a long time.
Though I think Klyre might be a little shorter, I want it to be clear he's a lot stronger than Cal. Cal is going to find him physically intimidating. Cal is very tall, but insubstantial and skinny. Eighvorians run big and strong and Klyre's no exception.
He was never a soldier, like Lyudmila, using his physical prowess for entertainment purposes (wrestler, actor, mascot, dancer, celebrity). He's a lapsed celebrity now and lives in the Starmouth part-time to save on resources.
You'll notice that Klyre and Lyudmila are both tertiary. They come from separate dyads. Eighvor has discarded tertiary elemental dyads one after another, so there are quite a few to be found out there, and they don't necessarily know each other very well because they weren't encouraged to fraternize. I can't really call Klyre and Lyudmila siblings like I can with the Faidian elementals.
Anyway Klyre has a ton of secrets, and he kind of deserves a partner like Cal for a few of those. He's not overall a bad guy though, and I think he will be a pretty good influence on Cal, even if he orchestrates some pretty rough stuff for Cal to go through
