And what if rap WAS only about sex, violence, and drugs... what then? Would you be justified in looking down upon it as not being "real" art? What would your justification be? Sex is immoral and taboo? Drugs should never be mentioned outside of D.A.R.E programs? Songs about violence turn children to it? Would you turn that standard to other genres as well? I know you wouldn't, I know you haven't, because it's never really been about the topics explored.
rap is often about politics and punk is often about sex and drugs but tumblr users wouldn't know because they listen to neither

I just realized I never actually posted this here for some reason. It's been a couple of years but there are some things about this that I still like.
Desperately needed this DND character idea out of my head and on paper. I was originally going for angsty fairy boy that wasn't necessarily evil but the more I sketched the more I fell in love with the evil fairy concept. Maybe if I'm lucky a DM will let me play as a fairy and this concept can develop further.
There's still a lot I haven't really decided yet about this Steve. I think I might want to make them non-vocal tho. That's something I haven't done with any of my characters yet.
Maybe I'll get the painted version of the concept art done one day. Who knows.

I hate how easily I come up with new D&D character ideas. Like what a cool idea for a character and NO campaign to play them with.
Black Knights, the Undead, Harpies, Ravens and Wolves.
Ink drawings on paper.Β
These characters were all drawn quickly and in groups, using a medium-sized brush and emphasizing shape, light and shadow over fine detail. I find it to be a very good way to experiment and get quick character ideas down on the page.Β
